Try to hold me back as you may. This isn't a dream; I'm awake.
Yet, dreams still happen during the day.
You're more like my personal nightmare, You hold onto any ounce of control you have onto me.You pull me back and guilt me. You say, "I only do this because I love you."
I'm dreaming while I'm awake, that someday I'll break- break away to my escape.
Break away from the fear. The fear of leaving them with you
Can't you see through my dismay that you're just a disgrace?
Knowing and full. Yet, so empty and cruel.I never noticed how naïve one can be.
This was all a daydream to me.
