galaxies

Some nights,
i talk to the moon,
unraveling the galaxies inside my chest, wondering if the universe will ever heed for people like us.
I burn my eyes out
just looking for things
that made my mere existence worthwhile.
This is why,
some nights,
I trace your name in the stars.
If I could, I would bend down the cities to see you asleep,
I will follow all the lamp posts that will direct my way.
For among the city noise,
and nocturnal sounds,
you're heavy breathing will still be the most beautiful.
And if my heart could explode into tiny billion pieces,
I'll have every single one of it scattered around your room
and leave the windows open
for the moon to see,
before the wind take it away.
