Part Five

(Bill)

Five other murders have occurred... but no one seems to care.

No one except Dipper and me.

And I haven't been able to spend as much time with him as I'd wish...

It's been about two months since our last time together.

I still remember the first time Mason (tried) to sneak into my room.

Memory:

(Bill)

Two of my guards burst into my room holding a brunette.

"Sir. We caught this man trying to climb your wall," one says.

Oh God Mason.

"Let him go. He's my friend," I say sourly.

Mason smiles as the guards let him go.

He closes the door and sits next to me.

"Thanks," He says softly.

"Mason... I told you. You can't ty to visit."

He holds my hand.

"Why don't you teach me how to climb then?" He asks.

I roll my eyes.

"Fine. Tomorrow I shall teach you how to climb without killing your self," I chuckle.

Mason smiles at me and kisses my cheek.

"I love you," He says hugging me.

"I love you too."

Back To Present-

(Bill)

I sigh.

I'm a mess.

I grab a drink from the pantry and lay on the couch in my study.

I shouldn't do this but...

I take a good sip and sigh.

Suddenly, someone knocks on the door.

"Who is it..." I say softly.

"It's me, Mason," my love says quietly.

I instantly perk up and open the door.

He instantly recognizes the bottle of rum and frowns.

"You're drinking again," he says.

I sigh.

"It's only one bottle."

"One can turn into two."

"Mason..."

"It's true. I've watched you slowly deteriorate into the world of alcohol. I won't watch it happen again," Dipper says grimly.

"It won't. I promise," I say.

"You promised we could still spend time together. Yet that hasn't happened."

"Are you here to lecture me or-"

"No. I wanted to put some effort into our relationship. But you've turned back to alcohol. You think I don't know you take rum from the pantry?" Mason asks.

I rub my temples.

"I'm sorry Mason. I'll stop," I say.

"Your words means nothing. Saying isn't doing."

"I'm trying."

"You aren't. I know it."

"Please... Just be quiet for a moment," I say frustrated.

"You talk too much and do nothing," he says sourly.

"Mason..." I growl, crossing my arms.

"What you are showing me is that you don't care about us. All you care about is alcohol," he says sadly.

Our bitter words start to overlap.

Then I snap.

"SHUT UP!" I yell, slapping Mason across his face.

He falls to the ground, holding his cheek.

I realize my mistake and try to help him up.

"Don't touch me," he growls shaking off my hand.

He stands up and calmly says, "I'm going back to my room. Don't follow me."

He closes the door on me.

I open it back up and run towards Dipper.

"Mason... I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to... I just..."

"I don't want your damn excuses."

"I take full responsibility for my actions... I'm sorry."

I grab his wrist and rub it.

"Don't leave. Please..."

He sighs but doesn't say a word.

I close my eyes and pray that Mason stays.

...

But his hand leaves mine.

(Dipper)

I head straight to my room and sit on the bed.

I start to cry as I realize what just happened.

"He hit me... I can't believe I wanted to put effort into this relationship... What the hell was I thinking..."

"Hey... Mason? Are you ok?" Zekeal says poking his head through my door.

"I'm fine," I sniff, quickly wiping away my tears.

"You obviously aren't ok.You can tell me what happened," he says sitting next to me.

He hugs me tightly.

"It's just my significant other... I don't know if we are together anymore," I say.

"I see... How are you feeling?" He asks.

"Numb. Like it never happened."

Zekeal holds my hand, but I pull away.

I can't do this to Bill.

We just had a fight.

He has the right to be angry with me.

And I have every right to be angry with him.

My friend frowns, but removes his hand.

"Mason... I.. I have a secret I need to tell you, but you can't tell anyone else. Ok?" Zekeal asks.

I nod.

"I... I love you. A lot," he says.

Zekeal blushes.

"Zekeal... I'm sorry. I... I can't. I don't feel the same way," I say trying not to anger him.

His neck twitches.

He suddenly grabs me and yanks me into a kiss.

(Zekeal)

I eat part of Mason's soul as I kiss him.

He instantly pulls away, but falls onto the ground.

"I... What did you do?" He says weakly.

I roll my eyes.

"I'm not human you idiot. I'm the murderer. The killer. The eater of souls. The King of Darkness. I'm... Gideon," I cackle.

"And now... You belong to me," I add.

I grin as Dipper's pupils transform into a dark gray.

"Now that I have enough power... It's time to get rid of that pesky king of ours. Bill Cipher," I growl grinning from human ear to ear.

Watching him die will make my day.
