Part Six

(Bill)

I pace around my room and finally collapse onto my couch.

Only then do I cry.

What have I done?

"Oh Mason... I'd do anything to take what I did back..." I sob.

"Bill..." a tender voice says.

"Dipper?" I gasp as my head snaps towards the sound.

Mason smiles at me weakly and walks towards me.

"Hello," He says.

"H-Hi..." I say trying to hold myself together.

I restrain the urge to hug, kiss, and tell Mason I'm sorry.

Just to feel him...

I reach for him.

"I'm sorry," I say holding his hand.

"B-Bill..." He says pulling away.

I bite my bottom lip.

Dipper suddenly lunges at me and presses a knife against my throat.

"Mason?! What the bloody hell are you doing?!" I yell shoving him off me.

His face remains emotionless as he continues to fight me.

Zekeal bursts into the room in anger.

"Zekeal! Thank God! Help me!" I yell.

"...No. Just kill him already Mason," he grins.

Mason nods and slashes at my heart.

I easily doge and pin him to the ground.

I knock the knife out of his reach.

He thrashes under my weight.

"God... You humans are useless," Zekeal sighs.

He snaps his fingers and Dipper passes out.

I shake him slightly, but he doesn't respond.

"What did you do to him?" I snap.

"Nothing of importance," he says.

"You bastard! Tell me what you have done," I growl as I walk towards him.

I draw my sword.

Zekeal just laughs.

He somehow summons a sword.

"What in the bloody hell are you?" I demand.

"A demon," he says simply.

Our swords clash in a burst of sparks.

He slices at my stomach.

A big gash appears as I lean on a chair for support.

I suddenly feel a presence.

"SCRAAA!" Ember cries, flying into the room.

She cries on my wound.

I instantly feel energy surge through my body as my senses sharpen.

"I'll fight to the end," I growl, lifting my sword.

"Ugh. This fight shall never end. Perhaps we could make a deal?" The demon inquires.

"Why should I trust you?" I growl.

"As a demon, I'm allowed to break promises, but I can't break a deal. That's the only rules for a demon," he explains.

Zekeal drops his sword and it disappears into thin air.

"Come on Cipher. Just hear me out," he says.

"Fine. What is the deal?" I ask.

"I give you an hour to save little Mason. You will travel into his mind and try to save him. However, if you fail, you shall die," Zekeal says gesturing towards Dipper.

"Fine. I accept your terms," I say putting away my sword.

Zekeal extends his hand.

A black flame ignites in his palm.

"It won't hurt cha," he winks.

I carefully shake his head.

A bitter warmth fills my heart.

"Your hour shall start once you enter Dipper's mind," he says.

I hug my love to my chest.

"I will save you."
