Osas felt robust, accomplished, and overwhelmed. Complex feeling huh! Well, having endured over an hour in one of those horrible afternoon Lagos traffic. Osas couldn't help but feel this way driving into Lavande Court Estate in Yaba. Other than this bitterness, he felt at the back of his throat!

Damn! His relationship with Angela was soured. He refused to believe it was over.

He tried to forget her. God knew he tried. All that long swaying speech even as bad as regarding their affair as one nightstand.

Bull scrap! All that sexting and midnight talks and giggles. Or his unsteady palpitations at the mere thought of her. Notwithstanding the ache from her rejection.

Maybe she wasn't well.
What if something bad happened?
What if her phone was stolen?

He heard only the Ikoyi neighborhood and heavily guarded estates were safe in the country. The rest of the county suffered unprecedented security challenges. Well, and the country wasn't his problem. Just her. Just Angela.

He took another turn into her street.
Why did his guts think she was fine and acting up?

She had to be fine in other to block him on every social media platform. Even on Twitter, despite it wasn't even his real CEO Patrick Udoh account! His Osas Udoh was personal and boring.

Damn, he'd really grown to like Angela. If not love! She felt like heroine, he took one shot and didn't want to quit. It was painful he knew she felt the same way, but her insecurity.

The doubts written on her face, the last time he was with her. Why couldn't she just trust him? He wanted her! He could give her the best future, better than any offer any man's propose. Yes, he understood women wanted security and all of their needs meant and he didn't know any man that would give Angela a better offer than him..

Did he have the right address?

He saw from his rear view, Jack, his bodyguard drive behind him in an SUV. Big Jack knew better to park far away from him. It was embarrassing enough that his mother's instructions overrode his. To be guarded 24/7 was a little suffocating. And to have a controlling mother was far worst.

He was certain this was the right address, however, the crowd in front of the building he assumed was Angela's was a bit creepy. It seemed like a party, the blasting music.

"Is that a DJ?" He muttered, mindlessly. His eyes roaming the environment as he drove in.

He halted in front of Angela's gate unsure where to park.
There were so many vehicles parked outside the gate, all the way down, 3 - 4 blocks away. Well, he couldn't park far. He just knew he couldn't, period! That option didn't exist for him.

However, his obstinacy was doing him no good. He was barely sure the space would take his Rolls-Royce.

It looked as if this could fit his Rolls Royce. Or not! He was willing to risk it. Again with the obstinacy.

Damn bullocks!

Then the kid! A cute 8year old lad earnestly aiding him in directions, while gesturing. Meanwhile, the adults stood around staring at his vehicle like it was a whole new level of weirdness.

The kid's gestures amuse him. It was insane he hadn't really met a lot of normal average people on this continent. The average people here seemed really cool. Even Angela felt like eternal bliss. Maybe except this crowd in her home. Well, who said this address was Angela's. The houses in the estate looked alike, and confusing.

"Hey kid!" He wound down his window.

"Afternoon sir!" He giggled, jeering at Osas.

Osas chuckled, further amused."I was wondering if Angela lives here?" His eyes roamed through the kid in admiration. He was a pleasant sight.
