I decide not to tell my family about meeting Shawn. I get home and quickly walk to my room and put my guitar down. I decide to text my best friend
Y/n: hey y/b/f/n guess what!!!
Y/b/f/n: what!
Y/n: I met SHAWN MENDES!!!!
Y/b/f/n: no fucking way
Y/n: and he asked for my number I'm going to die
Y/b/f/n: omfg omg I'm dying omg I can't even think
Y/n: ikr ugh I wish u were here
Y/b/f/n: ik same but my parents said I could visit you after you got your house set up!
Y/n: that's awesome. Gtg my mom is calling me

I go see what my mom is calling me for. "It's time for dinner" mom says "can you get your father and your brother" "Sure" I rely. I go to their rooms "dad it's time to eat" I walk down the hall to Charlie's room. "It's time to eat" I say. I go back down and set the table. ~skip to after dinner cuz I'm lazy~
"So y/n you will be starting school in about a week" mom says as I make my way to my room. "Ok I'll go to the store sometime and get some supplies. Goodnight mom" I say blowing her a kiss. "Goodnight y/n" she says. I decide to post a picture on Instagram of the starry night sky tonight. I see that someone has requested to follow me (y/n has a private account) and Shawn Mendes requested to follow me! I click confirm and turn off my phone. I drift off to sleep with a smile on my face.
