Title: This Mental Scar I Share
Author: Mickey
Type: original poem
Reason: An in real life friend of mine wrote this and wanted my input. I read it and loved it, and offered to share it here for others to read. So feel free to share what you think so I can pass it on to her!

Theres nothing that can undo the injustice you've done,
Unfortunately in this story the victim is more than one.
Your sick twisted mind left the most horrendous scars.
Gaining the trust of all, we left down our guards.
Allowing you to achieve the pleasures you sought.
And not think once the damage you've brought.
Your own disgusting torture follows like a shadow
Always there, never heard from, the darkness follows.
How dare you permentally damage someones child
How dare you take advantage and let your pleasures run wild.
How dare you steal the innocence from such young minds
By allowing your hands search for what they shouldn't find.
Abusing your victims in ways you desire
To find the pleasure in which you acquire.
Leaving us terrified and forever scarred.
For what you have done with no disregard
But how did no one notice all the signs
How could no one be able to read between the lines.
When I used to beg to not to be left alone at your house
Or ran to seek shelter from your own forgiving spouse
Or even simply when I was scared and tried to speak out
"They would help me for sure without a doubt"
At least that what I had sought out to believe
To believe it's happening to your child is hard to perceive.
But I was told an investigation would begin.
Little did I know that battle you would win.
Another year to pass with me as your sick toy
Leaving me to your torment and my child mind destroyed.
Until the day someone finally heard me
And I can fight to put an end to your disgusting sexual need
Frightened, embarrassed and scared I stood before you
In that courtroom, hearing them say the agony I went through
This twelve year old child just wanted some justice
But the court had performed their own malpractice
And only sentenced you for only 90 days.
Because it was "an adults word against what a child says"
You had made me suffer in your own hands
But that pain not just anyone can understand.
You were let out and years later a new victim you have found
Another child for you bring your suffering around
But this time your luck ran out.
This time you'll be jailed without a doubt
20 full years you were given
For the torment that cannot be forgiven
But twelve years had been lifted
To serve only 8 years you were truly gifted
Because we were given the life sentence
To walk the streets and see your face
Or sleep at night and yours sick games begin to take place.
Years of being terrified to be alone,
Around any man because their intentions are unknown
Although the physical damage is done and gone,
The mental scars you left will continue to go on.
No amount of time can heal all that you have done.
