•Eight Years Later•
I ran so fast out of Sans room I almost slipped when I took that sharp right.
"Get back here!" Sans yelled chasing me after me in his black sweater, grey soccer shorts, socks and pink slippers.
I couldn't help but laugh at him every time I looked back at his beautiful face paint. I painted a mustache on his face.
I slid down the railing as I saw Papyrus on the couch wearing his orange t-shirt and blue pajama pants with little race cars on it.
I was laughing so hard I thought my energy would be totally drained.
I screeched when I felt Sans arms wrap around me from behind and trap me.
"Aha! GOTCHA!" He chuckled in my ear.
"Why Sans, what a lovely mustache!" Papyrus had a beaming look in his sockets as though he were serious.
Of course Papyrus always takes things seriously.
"I can thank this kid for that and I MUST-ache you a question," Sans grinned hugging me but mostly torturing me by squeezing me too tight.
"Frisk! You must paint me a mustache sometime!" Papyrus went on and on about how he would look great in a mustache.
Sans dragged me to the couch and had to sit on Papyrus to sit down on the couch dragging me with him.
I kept laughing but didn't fight.
Papyrus had the air knocked out of him as he tried to push him off.
"I NEED MY SPACE!!" He growled trying to throw him off but failed.
Sans only dragged Papyrus into the floor when he pushed us off.
I was squished because Sans landed on top of me and Papyrus landed on top of Sans.
"Can't breath," I wheezed it sounded weird to hear my own voice at times.
I usually don't speak unless spoken too, even then sometimes I don't speak.
Sans kept laughing uncontrollably.
I sensed Papyrus's grin as he scrambled off us and scooped us both into a group hug as we both say in squished in between his legs.
I was cradled like a baby.
"YOU WILL SUFFER MY HUGS! NEHEHEHEH!" Papyrus chuckled evilly but he squeezed us tight.
I relaxed as Sans had an arm around me as he hugged me.
(Basically group hug).
I was out cold in their warm boney arms...
I woke to Papyrus loud snores as he leaned against the couch and his head was all the way back.
Sans had his head rested on my head.
His shoulder seemed so comfy.
I loved the two skeletons as much as they loved me.
This was what family was.
I never noticed the TV on until just now. Papyrus was watching some old shows I guess.
I tried to squirm away without waking them but Sans tightened his grip as well as Papyrus.
After a few failed attempts I managed to slip away leaving them to sleep.
I couldn't help but smile seeing Sans still had that mustache painted on his face.
I threw on my blue hoodie with two pink stripes on top.
I quietly opened the door as a cold breeze crept as I went outside..
"Hello Frisk," I heard Toriel say.
I spun around to see that sweet face.
She was like part goat or something.
She was like a mother to me as she smiled walking towards me.
"Hello Toriel," I gave her a quick hug.
She hugged me back with a smile.
"Where's Papyrus and Sans?" She asked.
I gestured back to the house.
She started to walk along side me into town always smiley happy.
"Anything planned for this fine afternoon?" Toriel asked resting a hand on my back.
I shrugged and looked up at her with not really knowing what to do.
She laughed a little at my odd look.
"You are the light in Papyrus and Sans's life, they've never been so happy ever since you arrived," she gave me a side glance.
I blushed a little and smiled.
"I love them like brothers," I whispered mostly to myself.
She chuckled and patted my head.
"I must be off, I have some business to attend to, remember, stay out of the woods," she warned then disappeared.
I never understood why I couldn't go in the woods. The closest I went the woods was at the edge where the bar is. I've always been kept away. Maybe this was a time to investigate! Every time I wanted answers no one would say a word. I started to make my way towards the bar but took a right turn instead. I was standing at the very edge of the dark woods like the time I came here when I first came here...•FLASHBACK•
I ran right slipping away from Sans and standing at the edge of the forbidden forest. I wanted to go in the woods to see what was hiding in the shadows. I swore for the past few weeks I sensed a presence. I started to walk into the woods as my heart started to race and the air got colder almost making my lungs freeze as I crept in the deep thickets. I heard something call me.
"Frisk......" The wind whistled.
I saw a large shadow in front of me as it slowly moved as its hand extended towards me..
I slowly started to take the shadow's hand but felt arms wrap around me and yank me away as the shadow disappeared.
"KID! You gotta stay with me Frisk... You don't know what lies in these woods," Sans was breathless as he was carrying me and running so fast out of the woods.
He set me down and turned me to face him, his hands on my shoulder.
"Never, EVER! Go in there again ok?" He had a scared look on his face I've never seen before.
He was so worried.
I nodded rubbing my eye.
Sans sighed as he pulled me into a comforting hug.
"Don't scare me like that kiddo," he whispered.•PRESENT DAY•
I shook the thought away as I suddenly felt held back. I should be smart about this and listen to Sans and Toriel's warning.
Who was that shadow anyway or... What was it?
