Chapter 2: Dude you're dead
Hayden's POV
School is finally out so I decided to start packing for the family road trip we are going. We go on one every year but this year it will just be me and my dad since my older brothers are all in collage and my mom lives in Texas now. I walk downstairs and see my dad talking on the phone. When he finished his conversation he told me that another family are going on this road trip with us.
H: Who?
Mj: My collage friend Katie and her daughter Annie
H: Who are they?
Mj: I think Annie is in your grade. Does the name Annie Leblanc ring any bells?
Then I remembered her. She was new and I kinda liked her but she would ruin my reputation so I kind of bullied her. However I didn't want my dad to know so I said
H: No. Never heard of her
Mj: okay well you will meet her soon and we leave in 4 days so pack
H: dad I have already packed
Mj:Well we are going to be gone for the whole Summer so make sure u have everything u might need.
H:okay
I said as I walked up the stairs and back to my room. I quickly face timed my best friend Carson.
H: Dude guess what
C:what
H: you know that Annie chick
C: yh what about her
H: my dad just told me that her and her mom are coming with me and my dad on this road trip.
C: *laughing*
H: it's not funny
C: dude ur dead
H: I know
C: she's gunna tell ur dad everything
H: thank you Carson. I wasn't aware of that
I said sarcastically
C: dude I gotta go
H: no I need ur help
C: Kenzie's coming over so bye
He hung up. Kenzie is Carson's girlfriend and also the head cheerleader. In my school, the cheerleaders and the jocks always hang out together and all of the other groups ignore us.
I used to go out with one of the cheerleaders called Maddie but I broke up with her after she poured something over Annie's head. I know Annie didn't do anything to deserve it because she's too nice for that.
