Chapter 4: SLEEPY
It was raining heavily so I just grabbed an umbrella, one of my heavy jumpers and ran outside. I walked for what seemed like hours looking for her. Finally, I remember that she liked to go to parks to clear her head. I sprinted to the closest park and found her. Curled up in a ball and freezing under a play set keeping her dry.
H: Annie!
I ran to Annie and gave her a hug then she put on my jumper.
A: Th-Thanks
H: okay lets go
We got back into the motel room and she just hugged me.
H: What's this for?
A: Just thanks
H: You should try to get some sleep
A: okay
We both got into bed. There was a thunder storm.
A: Hayden
H: Yes
A: I'm scared
H: of what?
A: Thunder. Can I get into bed with you?
H: sure
*Annie gets in Hayden's bed*
A: Thanks
H: Anything for you!
Annie's POV
When I got into Hayden's bed, I felt safe. He put his arm around me and pulled me close. It was weird. Then it hit me, I didn't hate him anymore but I wasn't going to tell him that. It was Maddie's fault not Hayden's.
H: Goodnight Ann's
Hayden whispered as he yawned
A: night hay
I replied.
Just like that I fell asleep in none other than Hayden Summerall's arms.
