"Stop right there, Isabel Beatriz." Maddie said while raising an eyebrow. I gave Maddie a 'what' look. "I thought no monkey business? Why do I feel like you're undressing me."

"Whoa. Waitㅡ what?!" I chuckled.

"Whatever." Then she rolled her eyes. "Dalian mo na dyan. I need to go back to the office."

"Can I come with you?"

"Uhm, nope." sabi niya at pinunasan ng tissue ang bibig niya.

"Why?"

"Just because." niningkit uli ang mata niya at tinignan ako.

"Come on, Mads! I won't do anything!" sabi ko habang taas ang dalawang kamay ko, "Or baka naman you don't want me close to you kasi you feel hot?" Tumawa ako at binato nya naman ako ng tissue.

"Shut up. Napaka mo."

"Then prove it to me. Sama 'ko."

"I said no." I pouted and gave her a pair of puppy dog eyes. "Ano ba?! That's student council matters, Bea!" dilat mata niyang sabi sa'kin.

"And so? The student council loves me because im charming." Then I winked at her.

"Oops. Not me." Sabi niya habang nakataas pa ang kamay.

"Psh. If I know crush mo 'ko." Sabi ko at pinaningkitan siya ng mata.

"Let's stop this nonsense. You're not coming with me okay? That's student council matters. You go home."

"I'll wait for you na lang then I'll drive you home."

"Beatriz." She called.

"What? O sige. I'll drive you na lang papunta sa sakayan. Is that okay with you?" She just rolled her eyes then we stood up para bumalik sa school.

It's been what? 2? 3 months, i think? Since we agreed to be in a very awkward situation. But I'm not a monster, hindi naman  pwedeng walang feelings na madevelop. Maddie is so lovable. Anyone can literally fall for her. 

In those span of time, I don't really know what lies behind her eyes. I don't know why those pair of beautiful eyes, seems empty. Just by looking at her, I badly want to lock her up in my arms and stay like that forever.

"Bea?" I looked at her. "Ang sabi ko, umuwi ka na. You don't need to drop me off."

"Nope. I insist."

"Ugh." She said and rolled her eyes.

"Ganon mo ba talaga kaayaw na makasama ako?" I asked. Then she looked at me. "Sige, i'll leave na lang. Text me na lang if you need me." I said and left her there. Nagkunwari akong nagtatampo at tumalikod.

3... Maddie please call me tell me to not leave! 1....

"Beatriz." I heard Maddie. Napangiti ako and I mentally bump my fist in the air.

Umubo ako at pinilit ko na mawala ang ngiti. Umikot ako at humarap, "oh?"

"Sige na, sumama ka na."

"Napaka arte mo! Sinasama ka na nga." She rolled her eyes.

"Okie dokie! I'll wait for you ha?" I said while raising my two eyebrows then I kissed her on the cheeks. "Bye Mads!" I waved goodbye and started running.

"Beatriz!!!!!"

Nasa labas na agad ako ng student council office pagtapos ng class ko because I'm dropping maddie homeㅡ I mean, sa sakayan lang pala but atleast that's a progress!

"Bea?" Hininto ko ang panonood sa phone ko at lumingon. "Hey Bei!" Kianna said and hugged me.

"Why are you here kkd?"

"Wow ha? Wala bang 'i miss you' dyan?" Umirap ako ng pabiro.

"Joke! Come here kkd give Beatriz a hug, i missed you!" Sabi ko at niyakap siya nang mahigpit. "'Bat ka nga pala nandito?"

"Im picking up Marck, we'll have dinner kasi. Ikaw, bat ka nakatambay dyan?" And as if on cue bigla na lang may umubo sa likod namin and just by looking at her parang may malamig na hangin na bumalot saming tatlo.

"Maddie! Hehe." She looks so different ang taray and ang sungit niya tignan. Shit. "Let's go na?" I smiled awkwardly.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Oh by the way Mads, this is Kianna."

"Hi! Im Kianna nice meeting you, Maddie!" Nag shake naman sila ng hands at tipid na ngumiti si Maddie. "Sige Bei, i'll go na din. Ingat kayo!"

"You too, kkd. Text na lang." Nagflying kiss si Kianna then she waved goodbye one last time.

"Tara na?" Tanong ko kay Maddie na nakatingin ng diretso sa'kin at bigla na lang naglakad. "Hey! What's wrong?" Tanong ko habang naglalakad kami nang mabilis. "Hey wait calm down. Napapagod ako, Maddie." Sabi ko habang humihinga nangg mabilis.

"Edi tumigil ka. You don't need to wait or drop me off somewhere. Just go."

"What?" Gulat kong tanong.

"Why don't you go after Kianna na lang?" She seriously said that made me bite my lip to stop myself from laughing.

"Are you serious, Mads? You're jealous?"

"What the hell?! Saan nanggaling 'yan?!" Inis niyang sabi habang nakakunot pa ang noo. Pinitik ko naman ang noo niya. "What the fuck, Beatriz!" Sigaw niya. "Ugh! Bwisit" dagdag niya pa at nagsimula nanamang maglakad.

Gusto 'kong tumawa pero kailangan ko siyang habulin. I can't believe it, my Maddie is jealous?

"Hey wait!" Sabi ko at hinila siya sa bewang papunta sa'kin. Now she's facing me. "Kung makikita mo lang sarili mo ngayon tataliwas 'yan sa mga sinasabi mong hindi ka nagseselos." I chuckled.

"Shut up." Irap niya kaya mas hinigpitan ko ang yakap sa bewang niya. "Bitawan mo nga ako!"

"I won't. I don't have plans of letting you go, babe." Umirap naman siya agad na ikinatawa ko nanaman. Fucking adorable.

"Im not your 'babe'.  'Di ba you're Kianna's Bae?"

"Fuck Mads, you seriously look cute now. I can't help but laugh. Bei as in B-E-I. Not bae. Im your only bae, Mads. So stop okay?"

"Fuck you, Beatriz." Sabi niya at umalis sa pagkakayakap ko.

"Tonight?" Sabi ko at tinaasan siya ng kilay habang nakangiti sakanya.

"Ewan ko sa'yo!" Sabi niya at naglakad na uli. Sinabayan ko siya ng lakad at kinuha ang gamit niya.

"Come here you little brat." Sabi ko at hinila papalapit sa'kin si Maddie. "Nothing to worry about, I'm all yours. All yours." Lumapit ako sa tenga niya, "my heart, my soul and my body." Bulong ko at kinagat ang tenga niya.

"This is a bad idea, ugh."
