"Hey there, sweetface." Y/n heard a voice behind her and turned to be met with a newsboy.
"Have we met?" She quetioned, recognizing his face.
"Only in your dreams." He smirked and cocked an eyebrow. "Nah, I sell papes around the city."
"Hmph." You turned around and continued rocking the baby carriage that sat infront of you.
"Who's baby is that?" He asked.
"My cousin's she's working right now and asked me to babysit." The boy nodded and sat down next to you on the bench.
He slyly put an arm around your shoulder before you turned to him and furrowed your eyebrows with a questioning look.
"Ok,ok" he removed his arm with his hands up in defense.
"So what's your name?"
"Mush." He smiled.
"I'm y/n. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet youse too." His smiled dropped before he started coughing awkwardly. "So, um, do youse maybe wanna come to the theater with me later?"
"If I say yes, will you leave me alone?"
He nodded sheepishly.
You pretended to think about it before finally sighing and muttering out a 'yes.'
Mush practically fell off the bench. "Oh ok! See youse tonight!" He screamed as the baby awoke, crying.
"Bye." You sighed in anguish.
