[No one's POV]

Yeoru sat quietly on her bed, fiddling with something around her neck.

The seven-year-old girl was getting ready to tuck herself in for the night. She was snuggled into her Rilakkuma onesie and her neat dark brown braids were undone.

Carefully, she removed the thin necklace. The necklace was nothing special, just a normal silver chain with a puzzle piece for a pendant. But there was a catch, of course. The numbers on the back of the pendant were interesting.

Engraved on the back were the numbers 060. The pendant looked like some sort of friendship charm. The numbers looked like they continued on another piece somewhere.

Yeoru hugged the necklace close to her heart.

"Thank you..." she quietly said.

[Donghyuck POV]

Here he was, 8 PM sharp.

Standing in front of Minhyung's office.

To knock or to not knock, --that was the question.

Donghyuck paced around in front of the door iritably. What was he supposed to do?

Where was he supposed to go?

The agent contemplated his options as he hadn't noticed an observant pair of eyes watch him mutter in confusion under his breath.

"Stop walking."

Donghyuck nearly leaped to the edge of the world and back as a familiar deep voice took  him by surprise.

Minhyung.

Minhyung walked past Donghyuck indifferently, not sparing him a glance. The older male opened his office door and walked inside.

Donghyuck nearly scoffed.

He wasn't even in the freaking office the WHOLE. TIME.

Minhyung sat in the same, monotonus  power position at his desk, slipping on round glasses and reading over files.

"Stop standing by the door. Do your job properly."

Donghyuck widened his eyes and almost glared at his so-called employer. Minhyung didn't even tell him what to do.

Donghyuck walked in, standing by the door still, but inside the room now.

Why am I doing this?
I could be peacfully eating Nutella at home-- oh yeah, right.
Our house got run over by mafia men.
My mistake.

"Sit," Minhyung didn't look up from his papers.

Donghyuck awkwardly obliged and took at seat in front of Minhyung's desk.

Minhyung didn't look up still.

Adjusting his glasses as he kept on reading, Minhyung asked, "How old are you?"

"Eighteen."

"Where do you live?"

"I'm moving soon, but currently I'm living with a friend," Donghyuck gulped in nervousness.

What was with this sudden questionaire.

"How did you learn self-defense?"

"I had a unit in school on it."

"Is that so..?" Minhyung flipped over another document to read.

Donghyuck was nervous, but instead just put on his best smile.
