[🚨 ALERT: ACTUALLY ONE OF THE LONGEST CHAPTERS I'VE EVER WRITTEN AHEAD! 🚨]

[Donghyuck POV]

"Are you sure this is all you need?"

"Yeah, hyung," Donghyuck tried to convince a worried Wonwoo to leave for the day.

"You're positive?"

"You sound like an apprehensive dad asking his wife about a pregnancy test."

"Nonsense. The proper way is: 'Are you by chance, preganannant with starch masks on your body?'"

"Ew. I guess this is why you're married to Memegyu."

"Nah, he just does it well."

"Okay--!" Donghyuck shoved Wonwoo out the door. "Thanks hyung! Bye!"

A slam was heard, along with a sigh of relief. To this day, Donghyuck still wondered why Solar decided to keep that married couple on her agent strike force.

"Must be a great tag-team," Donghyuck shrugged to no one in particular.

He had just moved into his new apartment. It was in the apartment metropolis of southern Seoul. It was very different on the other side of the city, and Donghyuck felt like a fish out of water.

Northern Seoul was artsy. Architecturally beautiful. At night, there were neon lights, color shows promoting charities, and wonderful shapes made out of pretty lights on the bridges. The huge ferris wheel on the other side of town was visible to majority of people in the northside, a different pinwheel of rainbows each night could be viewed.

His house there was in a spacious and homey neighboorhood. It was like a child's light show combined with a comfy house with the downtown arcade next door. There was greenery around the parks, which he realized he took for granted; remembering those relaxing runs listening to his Michael Jackson.

This stark metal, cold, and edgy, industrious place was nothing like home. The southside was a metallic dome. Sharp skyscrapers sweeped the skies, as if saying, 'I'll reach higher than you ever will.' It was early evening by now, and Donghyuck expected to be off to work again in no time.

The apartment was still new, so it was still quite barren. Donghyuck felt a bit lonely, as he was used to his mischevious friends or friendly house staff. It wasn't bad for a home. A whole wall was glass, overlooking the city with a pretty decent view. The kitchen was surprisingly large, and the bedroom was connected to a bathroom.

Donghyuck favored the bathroom, as it had a shower, tub, and jacuzzi all in one.

It wasn't cramped or have a relaxing buzz.

And that's why Donghyuck realized how alone he was.

He could leave, telling Solar he's not fit to be an agent. Run away and rest somewhere in America and go back to running in parks listening to 'Diana'.

"Unfortunately, I can't let everyone down," Donghyuck flopped onto his new bed.

He glanced at the clock.

Only two hours until he had to leave for work.

Geez, what's with this Minhyung guy anyways?
He's like a rock with a straight face drawn on with permanent marker.
Though I guess whoever drew the face had good taste-- WAIT. WHAT?!
