I dropped the wood that was in my hands, and started running back to the ruins. As I was running, I remembered that I had left my only weapon back at my previous campsite, so I stopped and started to look around the ruins quietly. Soon after I found a silver statue, holding,(lucky for me) a silver flail with turquoise inscriptions. It was slightly discolored and dull, but if it was cleaned up would have looked beautiful. I picked it up and silently stalked closer to the monster. At this point I got tired that of calling it monster, creature and beast, because it was a made up, so I decided to name him Jerry, why not? I called Jerry over as I walked out of the shadows, trying to lure him away from Rosalind, who was cowering behind some broken wall. When it was far enough away from her, I swung the flail aiming it towards Jerry's neck, it wrapped around 3 times, which he was not happy about.

He reared backwords, causing me to land on my face and then, I got dragged on my face. After a while I was able to get up of the floor, and somehow get on his back, it was very difficult. Imagine riding a bull, but its 7 feet tall, and can walk on its hind legs. That's pretty much what I was doing but, my goal wasn't to see how long I could last without getting thrown off, it as to kill Jerry.

I pulled the chain tighter causing the hooked end to cut deeper into his skin, this made Jerry even more upset causing him to run towards the forest. My face kept getting whacked by branches and leaves, and after awhile it started to burn slightly and get itchy, but I still held on pulling the chain slowly. After the trees didn't get me off Jerry decided to go back to the ruins but slower than before, he was almost dead I could feel it, (literally and figuratively). Seconds later I would have had noise head off, but instead it turned into a cloud of purple dust, leaving me coughing and on the floor, once again.

"What...cough...was that...cough?" Rosalind got up and ran over to help me up. "Maybe when it died it turned to dust because its asnt real to begin with?" I grabbed my red hair, almost crimson in color, and put it back up in a ponytail. "It's name was Jerry" I told her, as I tried my best to get rid of the dirt covering me. "You named it?!" "Yeah?" I responded as I lowered my self down to the ground, it was almost morning, and I was going to take a nap before the sun rose. My dream shortly lived because Rosalind had so many questions that she wanted me to answer and they had to be done right then.

"I still don't understand somethings?" "Like what?" I responded still hoping I could sleep. "When you rescued me how did you move the stone wall? Was it magic?!" I opened my eyes and looked at her, she couldn't be serious. "Magic has been gone for over a century. It was banned because of the great wars, remember, besides I don't even know how I managed to move solid rock." She looked kind of sad like she really wanted magic back. " do you think it could've been?" "I hint it's impossible after all..." I didn' get to finish cause right after I said that the flail with the turquoise inscriptions started to glow.
