I walked back over to Tyryn. He was leaning across from the tunnel entrance and beneath the tree.
I could see him underneath the shadow looking down at his shoes. He hadn't noticed me until I said something, "Hey."
"Hey," he said, followed by some silence.
I awkwardly stood across from him. I decided to move and lean against the wall beside him instead. "Tanzanite left."
He nodded. "I didn't know you guys were so close."
"Oh, no. We're not close at all."
"Really?"
"Yeah, definitely." I told him. "I know the B- uh- Tanzanite said we go way back, but... it's not like that."
He took in my response as he looked back towards his shoes. I wondered what he was thinking.
"Um, Ty?"
He rolled over to the side.
"Are you sure you want to come? Y'know to DB?"
"Yeah,"
