Mu'ammar was agitated, seeing her lifeless body on the ground made him spooked. He knelt down before her and touched her neck but there wasn't a pumping vein. He took her into his arms and stood up_walking directly into the house; ignoring Aunty Falmata's talks. He just knew Tanzeel for days now_but seeing her like this shattered his heart.
He layed her on the bed in her room and looked at Aunty Falmata cluelessly. "What are we going to do? Do you think she will make it? There isn't a pumping vein in her neck, Aunty," he muttered, his eyes glued on her breathless figure.
Falmata walked over her, she took her hand in her hands_examining some nerves. "She got this attack because of your proximity. I knew it_she would be healed through you Insha Allah."
His eyes dilated, Aunty Falmata's words confused him. As in she blanked out due to the proximity between them? But how could that be possible? "Aunty, you mean she will always blank out with even a touch of her hand or what? This got me confused," he had to ask, for it was just so unreal for him to believe.
She was trying so hard in stabilizing Tanzeel's breathe and also answered him his question "Yes, Mu'ammar. She was depressed because of something probably related to guys_and steady mingling with a guy will lounge her out," that was the only thing she could come up with.
Successfully, Tanzeel began squinting her eyes slowly, feeling her head throbbing excruciatingly as if it would split into two. Those memories began coming back to her in a rush, how he held her hand; the hug_that was what jolted her out of her darkness filled world.
She screamed at the top of her lungs_just when her ears got deafened by the sound she was trying to block out. Her mind floating the images she wished she can delete long ago, and feelings she wished she didn't have to think of.
"Laila jaan!" She screamed and broke into tears, struggling so hard to remove the bandage that was wrapped on her forehead, but Mu'ammar was so quick to hold her hand; which made her emotions overwhelmed.
"Don't touch me! Stop it! Laila!!!" She was fighting so hard to get her hand out of his_but couldn't. Mu'ammar felt his eyes being moistened with tears; how she was fighting looked as if she was mad.
He didn't know how_he just felt himself being sitted on the bed. Aunty Falmata bid him adieu and told him he should call her when the need arises and makes sure he didn't leave her side today. For always leaving her in this condition would never make her heal.
She was crying out loud, fighting so hard-but his hold was tight on her hand. "Let me go please, don't hurt her!" She kept monotoning, as tears of anguish kept streaming down her subtle cheeks.
He was holding her both hands with one hand, while he slowly moved his other hand to her face and started wiping away her tears_which made her shrieked as if she was being touched by a fire.
"Don't!" She bellowed, as the grazes came back to her in a rush, she felt as if her whole body was being set ablaze.
Mu'ammar couldn't take it anymore. How she was crying and fighting to get out of his hold tore his heart into pieces. He slowly wrapped his arms around her whole body, slightly rocking them.
Tanzeel knew it has to come to the point she couldn't fight more. She doesn't know to which world does she belongs. All she sees where the memories, all she feels were the touches, and all she hears were the wrenching sounds.
How he felt her body slackened on his chest made him heaved a sigh out of relief_she snuggled her face onto his chest and kept whimpering_that made him knew she wasn't in her senses. He needed to calm her down, so he began whispering some du'as in her ear, rocking them slightly.
