Jaehyun

Oh no, I'm late!" I scramble to put on some comfortable clothes and rush out the door. 'On my way!' I text Jaehyun.
"You're late!" Jaehyun says once I get to the court. "I-I'm so-orry, I overslept." I said between pants. "I guess it's alright, cause I was able to get you something." Before I could ask him anything he ran to his backpack that was on a bench and brought out a box of chocolates. "Why'd you get me chocolates?" "It's Valentine's day dummy!"

My eyes widen. "Aw thank you!" I say happily taking the box and immediately opening it to grab a chocolate. "Wait!" I say as I eat a chocolate. "What? Are they not good?" Jaehyun asks a little worried. "If today's Valentine's Day then it's your birthday!" "Oh yah!" Jaehyun says. "I'm such a fake friend, happy birthday!!" I say engulfing him in a hug. "Th-thank you." He says a little flustered.

"What are we doing here? We need to go somewhere so I can buy you a gift! And what about the other members! We needa do something ton-" "Omg it's ok, the members and I already celebrated this morning before we all left to do our things. How about I choose what you give me?" I smile. "Deal!" Before I knew it he throws a basketball my way. "Let's play some basketball!" He says excitedly.

"I can't believe you'd rather play basketball then go eat out." I toss him the basketball. "Doing the two things I love at the same time is what I want for my birthday!" "Two things?" I ask. "Playing basketball and spending time with you." I grow flustered by his words. "Shut up!" I finally saying grabbing the ball from him. "Hey!" Jaehyun says as I laugh.

We continue to play basketball for awhile longer until we both grow tired and we sit down. "Ah that was fun!" I say stretching out my legs. "I'm glad you had fun." Jaehyun says. "Let's go eat now!" I say jumping up. Jaehyun chuckles. "Is food the only thing on your mind?" I chuckle. "Of course!"

We ended up at a small barbecue restaurant where I ordered so much food. "Who's going to eat all of this?!" Jaehyun gasps at all the food "We are of course!" I start digging into the beef when I begin to get cold. "Are you ok?" "Yea, I just should've brought a jacket." "Here," Jaehyun takes off his hoodie and hands it to me. "No you don't have to, it's your birthday and I don't want you to be cold!" "What kind of logic is that, just take it." He says giving me his hoodie. "Well thanks then." I say happily putting on the hoodie.

Once we finish eating we head over to my apartment. "I had fun this morning!" I say once we get to my door. "Me too, the best birthday I've ever had." He smiles. "But I wanna tell you something." Jaehyun says. "Oh wait!" I say with my eyes open. "Come inside for a second!" He agree and we go to my kitchen. "I forgot I had this!" I say bringing out a cupcake. Jaehyun smiles. "Where'd you get that?" "I made some cupcakes a few days ago and I had one more left!" I say getting a candle.

Once I light the candle I start singing happy birthday for him. "Happy birthday dear Jaehyun~ Happy birthday to you!" He blows out the candle and I clap. "So what'd you wish for?" I ask as he takes a bite from his cupcake. "But if I tell you it won't come true!" He says. "Oh come on! I'm sure it'll happen. Maybe if you told me I could make it happen." I say urging him to tell me.

"Well ok I guess I wanted to tell you this anyways." He says putting his cupcake down. "My wish was that you'd like me and we could start dating." "Huh?" Is all I say from the shock. "I've liked you for some time and today I was gonna ask you out on a date. Would you like to go out with me?" I smile brightly. "Yes!" "Really? With me?" I laugh. "Of course! I've liked you for quite some time too actually." He smiles. "Then it's settled!" I smile and we hug. "This was the best birthday ever~"
