Chapter 6 apologies

Hiccup got up and dressed it had been 2 weeks since him and sisters had that group hug and they were 2 weeks in to the summer holidays so far, he went downstairs he had a slight headache but he ignored it his sisters were watching Netflix he made himself breakfast and ate it in silence "hiccup is that you?asked Heather "yeah its me replied hiccup he limped  in to the room ever since that night he was beat and he had sprained his leg when it had happened he sat down next to his sisters "hows your leg? asked Astrid "better he said"dad said before he left this morning that tonight we're having a house meeting said Heather hiccup froze. Later at 8 o'clock their dad arrived home after he changed out of his work clothes he yelled "guys house meeting heather came down the stairs first followed by astrid and then hiccup they all sat down on the couch in sitting room,their dad sat in one of the armchairs that were opposite the couch when everyone had sat down  he began his speech "I know I've been a horrible father to you hiccup am so so sorry I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you I'm sorry for what I did to you these past years I will try to make it up to you all I'm asking is that will you give me a chance? the girls nodded at their dad showing that they approved of the apologie they turned to look at hiccup who sat there deep in thought his eyes were closed thinking about what his dad had just  said he opened his eyes "I approve he said"but if you ever ever! raise a hand to me again I will kill myself but after I witness my sisters beat you senseless deal? he said "deal stoick said (by the way the dads name is Stoick) stoick stood up and hugged hiccup hiccup hugged him back the girls stood shoulder to  shoulder  hiccup turned to them "I don't how to say but thank you so much when it felt I had lost everything you were my light in the darkness so thank you and to show my appreciation I got yous this. he took two plastic boxs out of his pocket and handed it to them it the latest new phone the iphone 12A they gasped when gave them each one "but hiccup these cost 900 euro each how did you buy these asked heather "I've been saving up for two years now since you did something for me I decided I had to repay you somehow" hiccup thank you so much they both said before hiccup could say anything they both rapped him up in a big hug when they finally let him go stoick said" guys dinners ready they all sat down and ate dinner as a family after dinner they all headed up to bed hiccup was heading towards his room when Astrid stopped him " your still staying in our room she said " we still need to look after you make sure you've been fully healed okay? Heather said "okay hiccup said they all got into bed "goodnight he said "goodnight little brother they both said everyone fell asleep happy
