When Hellboy, Abe, Myers and the random girl they found arrived everyone was confused as to why Manning was happy. The girl they found ran up to manning crying and saying things in a language long dead to everyone. Abe didn't know know what she was speaking or who she was, that concerned hellboy more than anything but the girl herself looked beautiful. Manning then realized that someone was missing so he asked " my dear where is aphmau?" That's when she broke down crying her eyes out, and when hellboy realized who the person that protected her for so long was. It was this aphmau person that the girl talked about is holding onto the ring for dear life like it depends on it. Manning held out his hand for said ring but the girl was too scared until he said " Amatheia it's okay her relic will be safe here just how you will be." Thats when it hit Hellboy this girl is...is Leona's daughter. The girl he had fallen in love with at first sight, who's able to look happy while she's sad or concerned, the one thing that kept him and Liz together the one thing... that will bring back his happiness.
