23: Rebirth

Yayyyy....so I'm backkkk! Expect updates more or less regularly!

I was sitting at the railway station, looking down and crying. Suddenly I saw boots. I looked up to discover Zen. I looked away and said.

Zee-> What do you want?! I'm not going back-

Zen-> I'm here to give you this.

He handed me my luggage. I looked at him with widened eyes.

Zen-> And tell you that there is no train before 9p.m., so if you feel like, you can go back with me and wait till then in the village-

Zee-> I'm not falling for this, Zen. You all are so selfish...Because of you guys I've lost my-my-just leave Zen-

Zen-> ITS NOT LIKE WE HAVEN'T LOST ANYTHING, ZEE...I'VE LOST MY DAD....NIEL AND HIS FAMILY IS MISSING....MOREOVER WE LOST THE SADHU AS WELL. FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION I WAS ONLY TRYING TO CONVINCE YOU TO GO BACK WITH ME NOT TO JOIN THE EXPEDITION BUT TO WAIT AT EDWARD'S HOUSE TILL ITS THE TIME FOR THE TRAIN......YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S SOUNDING LIKE A SELFISH, NOT ME, ZEE. TONIGHT I AM EITHER GOING TO SAVE BHANGARH OR GOING TO LOSE MY LIFE ALL ALONE...YOU KNOW WHAT?! I THINK MEGHA IS REALLY FAR MORE BETTER THAN YOU! GOOD BYE!

He ran out of the station rubbing his tears. I just stood there seeing him fading away. I dropped myself on the ground and was in a shock. I didn't know how to react. I felt tears. How could he even say all that.........Suddenly my eyes fell on a diary....it was Mr. Woodworth's diary, which we had found inside the secret passage of Woodworth palace......maybe Zen dropped it.

Zee-> I-I think I s-should go and return-NO...NOOO..n-no.......

............

Grace-> Didn't Zee come?!

Zen-> I don't need anybody....I can do it alone....tonight I'll go to the palace.

Edward-> But-

Zen-> I want to be alone for a while.....please.

Edward and Grace nodded and left. Zen looked at the chain he was wearing, which the Sadhu had given and Zee had made him wear, and sighed.

Zee-> Today's Christmas.....its a holy day.....and the day which I had planned t-to spend with Kath, Z-Zen and others....I-I've lost Kath and as well as Zen......I-I want to go back....but....I-I can't face Zen and others, besides Kath's memory or maybe Kath h-herself will haunt me-OHHH GOD!

I cried myself to sleep.

Zen-> I'm going alone to save Bhangarh!

Zee-> NO...

Megha-> Say bye bye to your beloved people.

Zen & Kath-> HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.......

Suddenly everything started to burn.

Ratnavati-> HELLPPPPP-AHHH-----

Zee-> W-what's happening?!

Random people-> Only true love can save Bhangarh.

Zen-> Hey Zee.

Zee-> Zen?!

Zen-> Meet my wife, Megha, you know she's way lot better than you.

Megha-> Awwww babe.

Zee-> ZEN-

?-> Zee?!

Zee-> Mr. Woodworth?!

Mr. Woodworth-> Don't leave my son alone, daughter...don't do it.

I woke up to the train's whistle. I was emotionally disturbed because all that happened and because of the dream. I got up and went inside the train like a lifeless body. I saw a couple sitting at the far end of the compartment...it was just them and me... I wanted to be alone and sat on a random seat and immediately the first meeting with Mr. Woodworth came into my mind. I recalled how Kath was afraid to come here...I recalled the first meeting with Zen and I also recalled..."Don't leave my son alone, daughter...don't do it."

Zee-> *sigh*

The train started. I looked outside the window and found dark clouds above the fort. I stood up.

Zee-> Ohh God!

I searched for the diary in my luggage. As I got it, I chanted the first spell.

Zee-> S-show me Zen.

An aerial screen appeared in front of me and I could see Zen.

Zen-> I'm going!

Edward-> Be careful.

Grace-> I've prayed to God....hope everything will be fine.

Random citizens-> Where's Zee, master?! Without her how could you-

Zee-> Have faith in God! I'll either lose my life today or be successful....if I lose my life, wait for your true saviors....bye now everyone!

Inner Zee-> Zee....how can you be so coward...so selfish.....look at them...they need you....this is not the Zee everyone knows.....discover your true self and get back to Zen.

Zee-> N-nooo....no no nooo-

Inner Zee-> Are you worrying for Kath?! If you return to your hostel, won't Kath's memories haunt you more there?! And one who is dead is dead...she WAS your best friend....but Zen IS your boyfriend-

Zee-> NOO...no y-you're w-wrong-

*Lightning*

Zee-> HUH?!

The screen blacked out.

Zee-> Zen?!Z-ZENNNN?!

Zee chanted the spell again but nothing happened. Zee went on chanting but no use.

Zee-> W-what happened to Z-Zen...Zen?! I-I-I'm afraid....No..no nooo...its not the real me...I-I shouldn't be afraid....Zee is f-fearless...she's not afra-AFRAID-Y-YES-afraid....CHANT....THIRD SPELL....

Zee closed her eyes and chanted the third spell..slowly her facial expression changed, she became calm, her pale face and her breathing rate also became normal. She opened her eyes and there was as if fire in her eyes...seemed like she took a rebirth.
