First Kiss~Viola

(From Book 3: Todd and Viola's kiss)

Ok, in all honesty, I was slightly disappointed with their first kiss. You could see their love for eachother grow in each book and I honestly thought there'd be more feeling attached to their kiss. But what we got were literally just 4 lines.

So, I fixed it!

He looks at me in a different way.

His noise keeps getting quieter but I can see it there still-

See how he feels the skin of my hand against his, see how he wants to take it and press it to his mouth, how he wants to breath in the smell of me and how beautiful I look to him, how strong after all that illness and how he wants to just lightly touch my neck, just there, and how he wants to take me in his arms and-

"Oh, God" he says, looking away suddenly  "Viola, I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"

But I just put my hand up to the back of his neck-

And he says "Viola-?"

And I pull myself toward him-

And I kiss him.

He didn't do anything at first, his noise saying things like

"Viola?"  ??  "Are we-?"   ?!   "Kissing"
            "Oh lord"     !    "Viola"
"I'm a man"  "I love you"  "Don't leave"
         "Viola"        !!!?      "we are-"               I'm Todd Hewitt"  "My Viola"  "dont"

I felt his hands gingerly touch my waist before he fully placed them on either sides of my hips.

I put both my arms arround his neck,

He let me pull him closer, finally kissing me back.

His lips moving softly against my own

"Viola" he mumbled into my mouth.

"Todd" I said back, my lips not leaving his.

Todd gently clutched my shirt,

I pulled him closer as he gently laid me down, him on top of me,

Reminding me of the time he fell on top of me when he sneaked into my room in the house of healing.

"Viola" rang his voice again.

Except this time he didn't say it, he moaned.

I searched his voice again and all I could hear was 'Viola' over and over again, as if it was a prayer,

As if he stopped saying my name, the kiss would end.

My mind was racing just as fast as my heart was pacing

I fisted his shirt in my hand, still not over the fact that I was under Todd,

Kissing him.

"Todd-" a moan involuntarily escaped

"Viola"

I felt his finger tips brush against my waist where my shirt had run up.

Todd hesitated before placing his hand over the tiny bit of skin exposed.

"Viola-"

"I think I foun- oh shit!"

Both of our eyes shot open to find Bradley, staring at us,

Eyes wide and mouth agape.

I pushed Todd off me, who nearly fell off the cot we were on.

He quickly spun arround and walked out hurriedly,muttering curses.

I glanced at Todd who was already looking at me, face flustered

I didn't know if it was because we kissed or because we were caught mid way

Either way, I bent closer and kissed his rending cheek

"Wh..why Viola!' He blushed even more as he rubbed the back of his neck.

I laughed at how adorable he was being.

Sure, I wasn't any different

I was probably blushing harder but that didn't matter at all right now,

I just kissed the boy, the man I loved,

I kissed Todd Hewitt

And it feels like, Finally.
