I came back to Jennifer's house with the biggest smile on my face. I couldn't think straight and the whole time I was in Jennifer's car, I laughed. She thought I was going crazy but I don't think she'll think that when I tell her what happened.

That moment, when we kissed, was the happiest moment of my life. I have never felt this happy before, and after the tragedy, I think I deserved happiness. The kiss wasn't just amazing, it was memorable! I saw the sparks that every teenage girl sees when she kisses the right guy. I felt the butterflies in my stomach and the shudder on my back.

Once Jennifer closed her room door, I started jumping up and down and screaming. She starred at me for about two minutes then said, "are you on drugs?"

    "WHAT" I stopped, "no."

She laughed, "then why are you so happy?"

    "GUESS."

She sighed, "you... found a lucky peny?"

"What, no. You never I never pick random things up from the floor,"

"Right, right... You won something from a stall!"

I raised my hands, "do I look like I'm carrying a toy?"

"I suck at guessing! You know that. Just tell me,"

"Sorry, I forgot. Okay, okay. Get ready for the greatest news in the history of greatest news. You ready?"

"I was ready 2 minutes ago,"

My shoulders sank, "come on, I can't tell you if you have that kind of attitude."

"Alright, I'm sorry. What, Sam? What is it? Oh, I'm so excited to hear this thing she calls 'great news!'"

I rolled my eyes, "COLE AND I... KISSED!"

She immediately changed her emotions, "HOLY CRABSTICKS. WHAT IN THE ENTIRE WORLD DID YOU JUST SAY?!"

"We kissed," I giggled, remembering everything.

She started laughing and holding onto her stomach, "you have got to be kidding me."

"I'm not! Why won't you believe me? We really did kiss!"

"So you guys think you're an item now?"

"Yeah... Isn't that the reason why we kissed? To make it official?"

"He's just kissing you, Sam! He's a player, you see. He won't take things seriously!"

    "What? What do you mean?"

"It's not official! You're not a thing!" She said with hand gestures.

"Yes, we are! He told me he loves me,"

"All guys say that to get a girl, to play around with."

"Why can't you just be happy for me? I wanted this to happen, you know that! And it did, but you're just not accepting it, are you?"

"I'm trying to help you, so you won't get hurt!"

"This is pathetic," I said as I got ready to go to bed.

How could my best friend actually say this to me? I'm happy, for once in a very long time and she's trying to get me miserable again? If she really wanted to help me, at least get some proof before shoving everything in my face. Just because Cole is popular, doesn't mean he's exactly like the stuck up kids. I love him and he loves me, it was said and done. Does she need black and white done? I can't belive she's actually telling me he's a player when she barely knows his background. He was cheated when he stayed loyal, and he did the right thing! He broke up with her! Isn't that what a good guy should do?
