I've just had dinner with my family including mom so you can imagine how it went down with her and Taraji in the same room,I don't know why they can't just get together for the sake of peace it has been a year for God's sake. Brooklyn went out shortly after the dinner to meet up with a friend and my mom went upstairs while Taraji was clearing up the dishes in the kitchen,I know she is mad because she keeps on banging the cupboards and cutlery,I'm definitely not getting any type of action tonight I went to the kitchen to go talk to her

Terrence:Baby can you stop for a minute and let's talk
Taraji:No I don't need your mother telling I can't keep a clean kitchen too after saying my food was horrible. Terrence I can cook that I know for sure

I had too chuckle a bit,Taraji cooks way better than my mom but  she can never find out

Taraji:It's not funny Terrence or do you also think my food was horrible?
Terrence:No baby your food was great
Taraji:That bit... your "MOM" always has something negative to day about me
Terrence:Taraji I told you about calling my mom out of her name
Taraji:It's funny how you're always at her defense but you let her disrespect me time and time again
Terrence:This is not about sides...
Taraji:DAMN IT'S ABOUT SIDES AND YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT TERRENCE
Terrence:WATCH YOUR TONE WHEN YOU TALK TO ME. You always want to be so damn right about everything all the time can you just not be your usual controlling and never wrong self for one night.
Taraji:So that's what you think of me? Once again you let your mom be the reason for an argument between us
Terrence:Taraji...

Terrence is so annoying at times like why doesn't he ever stick up for from his crazy mom,I'm really getting tired of miss Phylicia and if Terrence doesn't get that bitch in line then I'll just leave because I wouldn't want him to choose between the two of us. I arrived home and the lights were still on indicating my parents are still up.

I walked in and headed to the kitchen to get a glass of water and then  head upstairs but my mom cleared her throat to get my attention.

Taraji:WHAT?
Bernice:Who peed on your cereal? Dinner didn't go well with the Howard?
Taraji:Mom when are you and Dad leaving?
Bernice:Not anytime so come take a seat and talk with your mom

Should I really talk with her? Ah it whatever at this point.

Taraji:He's mom is a total bitch and she is always interfering with our relationship
Bernice:Why do you call her out of her name baby?
Taraji:She's just mad annoying
Bernice:But that doesn't give you a reason to disrespect her,she's older show respect
Taraji:It's no use talking to you
Bernice:Why,because for a minute your are not right?
Taraji:What do you mean by that?
Bernice:You are so used to being right that it kills you when somebody tells you aren't
Taraji:I'm not always right!
Bernice:But you feel like you are right,the world doesn't revolve around baby
Taraji:Wow and you call yourself my mom
Bernice:Rahji baby I know you don't like me because of how tough I raised but look at you today

Tough?  We lived like we were in the military forced to do whatever we were told

Taraji:I grew up in a jail cell mom!
Bernice:Terrence sounds like a good man and he surely loves his mother so think before you call her any bad names,he'll think if you can treat his mom like that what about his daughter?
Taraji:I love his daughter
Bernice:Learn to love his Mother then
Taraji:Nah Goodnight
Bernice:Taraji you know I love you,you're my daughter
Taraji:I love you too...for today

It's a new day and I hope I can move on from yesterday's drama and start up fresh,Terrence didn't call last night,nor did he send a good night message like he usually does but I'm not sweating it,I'm gonna try not to be "RIGHT" all the time. I came to the office earlier because I wanted to meet all my deadlines,when I was with Idris I used to be up to dated with all my work now being with Terrence,I spend more time out of the office because I'm not avoiding him like Idris and that makes me burn the midnight oil on some of my work but it's fine.

Marlo walked in with my coffee and breakfast

Marlo:I don't remember when was the last time I had to be in the office be 7am.
Taraji:Me and you both,Thanks for the breakfast
Marlo: Pleasure now let's get to work. Should I update the finances for you
Taraji:No start with the emails they are more important
Marlo:You're right

You see?I'm always right

Taraji:Terrence and I had a fight yesterday
Marlo:About what this time?
Taraji:What do we usually argue about?
Marlo:The "monster In-Law" again?
Taraji:She referee to my cooking as horrible and told I'm rubbing off on his granddaughter the wrong way and I'm not good enough for his son.
Marlo:Now she did not come for your cooking and not good enough what does that even mean?
Taraji:In her words Terrence is suppose to marry someone more homely orientated and housewife material
Marlo:She trippin

Just the my phone started ringing and it was Terrence

Taraji:Speak of the devil
Marlo:The monster
Taraji:No,Terrence
Marlo:Let me give you space

Taraji:Hello
Terrence:Hey can we meet up?
Taraji:Well I'm at the office and I won't be free until 10 ish
Terrence:10:30,at The Valley is good for you?
Taraji: perfect
Terrence:I'll see you then,Bye

Man Taraji and I constantly fight when her and my mom are in the same room and I'm honestly tired of it from both their sides,I just don't understand why these two can't get along just for my sake,but that's about to end today.

Taraji:I'm sorry I'm late just a bit hectic at the office
Terrence:No problem just got here myself

Taraji:Go ahead
Terrence:Taraji I'm tired of this bickering between you and my mom,it's honestly just darning because I love the both of you but somethings got to give...

Terrence:Let me finish,You always make it a point to let her know that you don't respect and that's my mom and I don't want to reach a point where I have to pick between the two of you,I'm sorry but you and I are done

It's hurts me as much doing this but my mom has always been there for me and I can't let Taraji destroy my relationship with my mom

Taraji: If that's what you want

I could see the hurt in her face and that just broke my heart into pieces,I hate myself for this
