There's never been any kind of auction here before... especially not a date night auction

Girls started to walk in a line onto the stage

Every one of them had work done and were painfully obvious gold diggers looking to get a hook up

"Now all of these girls are single and ready to mingle! Each are looking for relationships with eligible doctors oh la la" she giggled "The bidding proceeds will be added to the fund at the end of the night" she pulled the mic off the stand "before I let the girls introduce themselves we've got one more girl to bring up here"

Suddenly a spot light came on and swung our way it landed on Alexis she went wide eyed and before she could say anything people started clapping for her she looked at me "come on now don't keep us waiting" Miranda egged on

I was just as speechless as she was she slowly inched up out of her chair and walked to the stage getting at the end of the line

Miranda always had to do something to ruin my night last year she spilled cocktail sauce all over my custom white Gucci suit year before she spilled a bucket of ice in my lap but this... this had me pissed

The girls started to introduce themselves there were 7 of them not including Alexis and I just stared at her waiting to get her off that stage

"Im Rimi and I love the beach and silk night gowns" she winked passed the mic to Alexis

"I'm Alexis and I love babies and puppies" then put a hand up "and I wish for world peace mm thank you thank you" everyone laughed knowing she was playing like this was a mock beauty pageant Miranda snatched the mic from Alexis and Alexis just happily skipped back to her place in line

I kept my hand up determined to be the last one but I was surprised to see Doctor Evans had his hand up as well

Finally it came to 100 and people hadn't put there hands down I was getting tired of this

"1,500!" A guy yelled and I guess that was the game now

"2,500" I yelled

"3!" The guy yelled looking at me

"3,900" Miranda's husband announced

"4" Miranda wasn't even talking anymore we were just bidding amongst ourselves

"5,000" I yelled standing up glaring at all the other bidders

"5,000 really?!" Miranda growled and looked at Alexis "FINE HE WON"

I walked over and literally yanked her off her feet by her waist I put her down on the floor and wrapped an arm around her waist I grabbed her face and smashed my lips on hers

Her lips were well worth 5,000 dollars to me

People were oohing and clapping but I wasn't putting on a show I was claiming my girl
