Harry sighed heavily knocking on Doctor Evans door it was late about 10:30 last time he checked it was storming out Harry didn't bother with an umbrella he just put on a thick coat

The door opened into the warm woody smelling home Evans smiled "son glad you came" he let Harry in tugging at his coat making Harry give it up Evans hung it up on the coat rack by the door

Harry already felt better Evans house was cozy and rustic everything was wood Evans rubbed his hands together "I'd say let's sit in the dinning room but I don't want you catching cold I've got a lovely fire I made coffee... it's decaf" he led Harry down the hall to the living room where 2 brown leather chairs were sat in front of the fire a small end table between them

"Can you make that an Irish coffee?" Harry grumbled

"No" he took a seat with Harry "lets talk I know somethings wrong you're cutting everyone short, avoiding conversation, Angel's worried son"

Harry rolled his shoulders "she said something to you?"

He nodded "she's worried like I am" he picked up his steaming mug of coffee "talk to me tell me what's wrong?"

Harry glanced at the coffee and huffed he brought up his finger to his mouth biting the sides

"Well it's not work I know you things like that don't work you up like this is it something with Bonica? She's at her shit again?" Harry shook his head

"No it's not Bonica"

Evans set his mug down "is it Alexis?" He frowned deeply "she broke up with you?"

Harry frowned and looked at him "why would she break up with me? Why is that the first thing you thought of?"

"I know how you can be I know your temper I'm just happy you don't throw things anymore... you don't right?"

Harry shook his head "no and I broke up with her I have her number blocked I haven't seen her and/or spoken to her in a little over a month "

Evans leaned up out of his relaxed position "are you daft?! What'd you do a thing like that for?!"

Harry jumped "what are you yelling at me for it's her fault!" He growled

Evans shook his head "I wasn't even there and I know that's not true why? What is it she's supposedly done?"

"Why are you are her side? Be on my side" Harry was really offended

"Not picking sides tell me what happened" Harry rolled his eyes

"I came to her place she wasn't answering I got worried ,she usually answers in a snap, I get to her room her 'friend' is in bed with her in his boxers he gets up saying she didn't know it's not her fault she was asleep she was sick whatever I hit him" Harry felt guilty saying it here in front of the man that was more his father than his actual father "we fought she woke up and stopped us I was pissed I said we should take a break..." Harry trailed off not ready to face the rest of the story feeling like maybe if he didn't say it it would take away from the reality of it he hunched over his elbows on his knees

"Well was she sick?" Evans asked

"I dunno I guess she did throw up while I was there"

"Was she really asleep?"

Harry nodded "yeah"

"Sounds like it wasn't her fault you can't really get on to her because of the actions of another man especially when she didn't solicit those actions" he shook his head "but being upset about it is perfectly understandable Harry but you can't really blame it all on her can you?"
