I tapped my foot reading over the documents for another contact for a hospital

The amounts were doable their offer wasn't outstanding but it was sufficient I dragged my pen under the line as I read it I heard a knock "WHAT?" I yelled

The door opened "hey boss" I looked up at Drake I kept my pen under the line I stopped on

"What?" I repeated

He smiled sarcastically "good to see you too" he walked over "so uh... you and that girl still a thing?"

I tilted my head and laid the pen down with a loud smack "I'm sorry?"

He shrugged "she hasn't come in for awhile is all"

I squinted "yes well I have a toddler at home and she's also pretty pregnant at the moment"

He waved his hand in the air "so?" He walked closer to my desk I did bring in an extra chair in here for Alexis or Michael when they come but he pulled it away from the wall and sat down "I just want a word"

I cocked an eyebrow "I think you've had a few actually, so why don't you just tell me why you're in my office?"

He nodded "right well... I'm worried about you"

I laughed "what?"

He sighed "I am I think you've gotten yourself into a problem"

"A problem?" I questioned

"Yes with that girl" he pointed at me "did you ever get a DNA test? Know that kid is yours?"

I slammed my hands on my desk "HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THE LOYALTY OF MY WIFE AND THE PATERNITY OF MY SON!"

He jumped "look" he held up his hands "I'm just saying I know it's scary when a girl pulls that shit I've had it happen it wasn't mine though so ya know I just wanna look out for you!"

I stood up "you wanna look out for me fucker!? Let me tell you something my daughter is in high school right now only a few years before college and as soon as she get her degree in finance she gets whatever job here she wants and that will probably be your job" I pointed at him and smirked "and daddy will give her anything so don't think because you feel we're friends or because I let you fuck that blonde bitch at work that you're anything more than a minuscule cog in the wheel of this company you're expendable I can find another you like this" I snapped "don't be stupid" I hissed

He stood up "I have everything on you!"

"Everything? What's everything huh? The fact I slept around? Financed a few sugar babies? A daughter from a woman I have no contact with? What? pick one"

He rolled his jaw "I know about your family... your brothers"

I laughed "I don't have any brothers, and if you had done your research as in depth as you're making it seem you'd see I emancipated myself from my father at 17 I have no legal ties to him or his kids" I sat down

I laughed harder "know what?" I waved my hand at him "pack your shit and get out of here"

His jaw dropped "ILL GO STRAIGHT TO HENRICK" he's the CEO of our leading competitor

"Please do so when I outsell him again this year, when my profits double his it won't just be him I get to leave in the dust" I smiled

"You will regret this" he got up shoving the chair

"I don't think I will you've got..." I looked at my Rolex "mmm a minute before I get security to escort you out, tell that little blonde she's fired too"
