Chapter thirteen

*NASH'S POV*

I couldn't even believe my eyes right now. The truck hit us on Dakotas side of the car. Yeah I was hurt too, but I got up to help Dakota.

"Dakota please wake up please." I say and shake her as my hand fumbles for my phone In my pocket.

"Yeah 911, uhh we just got hit by a truck and my friend is unconscious and um I don't know what to do." I say freaking out. I know it sounded dumb but I have no idea what to do or say right now, I'm in shock.

They told me to stay calm and then asked me where I was. I told them and waited for them to get there.

"This is all my fault." I whisper and break down.

"I will never forgive myself." I whisper to myself again.

"Why wasn't it me." I say again, and then hear sirens.

The ambulance and cops pull up.

"What happened?" the cop asks as they get her on the stretcher.

"Well we were in the car and all of a sudden a truck hits the side of my car." I said crying.

"Are you alright?" he asks.

"Yes I'm fine I got up to help my friend and.." I say and trail off.

"We have this all under control." He says.

"Can I please go in the ambulance with her." I plead.

"What is your relation to her?" the paramedic asks. ((A/n I think that's what you call them loll))

"She's my little brothers girlfriend." I say quickly.

She just looks at me for a minute then let's out a deep breath.

"Fine." she says and I get in.

We're on our way and i start to cry again.

"Please Dakota please just wake up. You'll probably never forgive me." I say and hold her hand.

I call cam and when we get to the hospital, they're all there. They bring her back into a room.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Hayes yells.

"Sir please be quiet." The lady at the front desk yells, and he gives her a dirty look.

"Well we were just having fun and laughing then all of a sudden a truck hits us!" I say.

"Ugh oh my gosh." Hayes says putting his head in his hands, sitting down.

"It's all my fault." I cry.

"Bud don't get down on yourse-" Aaron tries to calm me down, but he's crying too.

"No I have to! this is all my fault! If I was paying attention and not being so damn stupid this wouldn't have happened!" I yell.

"Guys I'll be um, right back." Matt says as he stands up and goes down the hallway.

I actually felt really bad for Matt because when he turned the corner, you heard him crying.

Hayes has his head in his hands and has been crying this whole time.

Cameron has been comforting hayes, but crying as well.

As a matter of fact, we're all crying.

Ofew seconds later, Caitlin ((her mom)) and my mom run In.

"WHERE IS SHE?!" Caitlin yells.

"She went into the room back there I don't know." I mumble.

One minute later, a doctor comes out.
