Philip died. As the Hamiltons mourned, Angelica, the second born to Eliza, suffered a mental illness, causing her to find family members unfamiliar. Doctors have theories that mental illness was a reaction of the aftermath due to her brother's death. She kept constantly forgetting that Philip was dead. Her aunt said it was some type of "insanity". Angelica's disorder seemed to get worst. Her father sent her parakeets since she was very fond of birds. Angelica lived through this disorder. Angelica's disorder was one of the aftermaths of Philips death.
