Background~ Serri was born in Brisbane, Australia to a Korean-Australian family. She grew up learning and perfecting her Korean. For as long as she can remember her parents played Kpop and they would travel to Korea for annual family vacations. When she was 9, her parents decided to move to Seoul and be more immersed in their Korean culture. Once she turned 12 she went and auditioned at many entertainment companies to become an idol.
