He missed her brown hair, that fell down her face and she'd put it behind her ear. The way she smiled at a funny sentence in her book or how she nearly teared up when something bad happened. He loved the way her brown eyes glistened in the moonlight. He missed her laugh, how even though the joke wasn't funny, she would keep laughing for a long time. He would give the world to her, scrap that, the universe. He didn't want to lose her, he wanted to hold her close and talk about everything and nothing. But most importantly, he wanted to kis—
"JOHNNY YOU NEED TO COOK MOM AND DAD ARE GONE AND I DON'T WANT TO SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE!" His little sister yelled from downstairs. He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Fuck you Lauren, I'll order pizza."
When the pizza arrived he kept on thinking about Mackenzie. "You thinking about Mack Z again? You know I'm like befriended with the love interest of her best friend?" Lauren giggled. John didn't answer. "You know what Lauren?" "Wh—" But before she could finish the word, he said. "I like Mackenzie. No, wait, scrap that! I love her." He mumbled.
"You've only known her for like, a month though?" Lauren said confused, with a mouth full of pizza. "Like this isn't a sappy fanfiction lol." She snorted. "Did you really just say 'lol'?" Johnny internally cringed. "Yeah lmao."
MEANWHILE
Mackenzie was on vacation to Miami. Where it now was 10 P.M. she was sitting in the window of her hotel, bawling her eyes out. This was their time. She missed him. That love you was not platonic, she's been wanting to tell him for a few days, but she just was too scared.
