Flashback
Ethel followed the noise until she met a figure. A woman who looks ready to kill she was devilish.
"What're you doing here?" Ethel asked her.
She looked scared and frightened.
She wasn't expecting her.
Valerie walked slowly to her.
"You didn't succeed in killing Betty."
"I tried my best but she still alive," she said.
"Not even close," Valerie moved toward her.
"Call Jughead." She said handing her the phone.
Ethel didn't know what to do if she denies her. So, she grabbed the phone and dial his number.
"Hello." She said softly
Who's this." He asked in the background.
"It Ethel. Please don't hang up on me Jughead," she said.
"What do you want," he asked her.
"I want to meet up," Ethel said softly. If you thinking I want to cause trouble that not the case.........." She added.
"Where do you want us to meet?" He asked her.
"At your house."
She cut the call and looked at Valerie

Jughead waited for Ethel to show up. He didn't want to waste time. He looked up to see her glaring at him with a smile.
"Why'd you want to talk Ethel," he went straight to the point.
Unknown to Jughead Valerie was taking photos of both me.
"Ethel....you're........ She cut him off by kissing him. He pushes her away quickly.
" Stay away from me," Jughead said to her.
She went toward him again.
He told her to leave.
And she did.
Now
Jughead’s head on the table. Damn it how did he get involved with this mess. What scared him the most that he had a criminal record. Violence and assault and theft. It scared him to death there no way he is going to jail for a crime he didn’t commit. He can’t leave Betty alone. Sheriff Keller opens the door and went in.
Jughead doesn’t look up at the Sheriff. He’s sitting with his hands clasped together on the table. They’re in handcuffs. His hair falling into his face.
The sheriff walks over the chair in front of him and sits down on it.
“Are you prepare Mr Jones?” He gave gurgling look hoping he will answer.
Jughead removes his head on the table to look at the man in front accusing of a crime he didn’t commit.
“I didn’t kill her.” He said with much courage.
Sheriff Keller passes a file to him.
He opened it and contains all the crimes he has done in the past.
Sheriff Keller stood up from his seat and behind Jughead’s sit. He was still looking at the file like a mystery and holding but finally, drop it on the table.
