So, for one of my courses, we are meant to do a presentation in groups. The lecturer wanted the presentations completed in two weeks, so half of the groups were to present the first week and the second half the next week. I happen to fall into first half.
The day for the presentation, we were to begin the class at 8am(🤢), unfortunately for us, the renowned 'Power Holding Corporation of Nigeria' decided to withhold electricity be from us. The lecturer than proceeded to get angry at us (the students) his reason being that we should have foreseen the lack of electricity and so, should have gotten a generating set and fuel to power it.
Note that we actually paid an increased amount of money for faculty fees and the school is meant to see to the provision of all things needed in the lecture rooms.
Presently, he has refused to allow the first half of the groups to present, maintained his stance about the generating set (which the second half actually rented when they presented) and has rebuffed all efforts to apologize to him.
