It's alright. I knew this was going to happen eventually. I'm Tristan after all, the infamous "bad boy" of this highschool. Ugh. Such a drag.
"Do you have any idea why you're here, Tristan?" The principal finally asked, after looking over something on his computer. His eyes meet with mine and his fingers gently entertwine with eachother. It's like every principal ever in a series. Having that famous glint in his eyes, he makes an 'ahem' sound to pull me back to reality.
"Oh, uh, no sir" I whisper, embarrassed that I didn't fully cope with the situation. Next to me, on a chair - sat the girl who's been telling lies about me. The reason unknown to me. She apparently just wants me to be in trouble for staring at her. The principal softly scuffs.
"You must. Pushing a girl into a wall is a serious negative attitude, young man"
You must be kidding me. This girl is literally insane.
"What? When the hell did I do that?!--"
"Yesterday, twerp" She spat out before the principal could make me shut up. I stared at her and met with her cold stare. It made me almost shiver due to being uncomfortable. I didn't like it one bit. However, I couldn't tell her to stop in a situation like this. How the hell did she convince them?! They know I'd never do something like this to anyone - especially not a girl.
"Where's the proof of that?" I suddenly demand. I could see how the girl's eyes widens after my words and immediately speaks, before the principal could - once again - speak himself.
"I witnessed it with my own eyes! Look, I have a bruise right here" she spoke, and pulled up her shirts sleeve. I groaned in irritation. Why did she have to have a bruise at a moment like this? I put my face into my hands, which made the principal shift his eyes away from her bruise and onto me.
"This proves it. Does it not, mr.Donavan?" He asked me. I looked up from my hands and shook my head no.
"I would never hurt someone. This girl wants to put me in trouble because I happened to stare at her during lunch" I spoke honestly. My voice had exhaustion in itself since explaining this was getting tiresome. The principal raised his eyebrow. I wasn't expecting him to actually believe me - but he turns to look at the girl who was clearly upset over nothing.
"Is he right?" The principal asked her. Her eyes widened and she shook her head.
"No. But if it was, wouldn't you consider it rude?" she asked. This confirmed it. She was, unfortunately for her, a very bad lier.
The principal sighs heavily and shakes his head in a dissappointed way. He looks my way and apologized, then told me I was dismissed. The girl wasn't however, she was left to discuss with him. I exited the office, relieved I wasn't taken for something I didn't do. As I exit the office, I spot Boyle waiting outside.
"Boyle?"
"Class ended earlier. How did it go? She's completely insane" Boyle spoke, approaching me curiously. I sighed, irritated by the whole situation. I just wanted to lay down and rest.
"She accused me of pushing her into a goddamn wall" I said, angrily. Boyle's eyes widened.
"Oh man.. I'm sorry about that" He says softly.
"No need. I got her to admit her reason for lying" I said. Boyle smiles, which caused me to smile as well. Then he raised his hand, and I highfived it gently. Causing both of us to chuckle in triumph. Soon, I heard the door to the principal's office open - and my eyes meet with a pissed off girl.
"What?" I say simply. Instead of lashing out on me, she turns abruptly and walks away. It made me majorly confused. I just shrugged however, and looked back at Boyle. Who was smiling still.
"She got what she deserved" Boyle simply said. I nodded, then aked if he wanted to go do something, since school hours were now over. Boyle agreed, and we decided to go to the town's centre. Where a bunch of shops and other stuff was being built.
We decided to eat something there, and of course- we spot her. She was first in line, ordering a burger. I pull Boyle towards me so we hid more in line, and watched as she nonchalantly walks past us with her food. I huffed in relief and Boyle realized why I had pulled him closer to me.
"Why does she have to be where we are?" I asked, troublesome. Boyle shrugs.
"She likes food, I guess"
I laugh gently at it, and shrugs. She probably does. We were eventually ready to order, and once we had ordered we went to pick a seat. We obviously picked a seat far, far away from where she sat. So no more unecessary drama would be created. Once we sat down, however - her eyes was staring straight at me. Pure anger being sent right at me. She suddenly stands up with her food and approached our table.
"Prepare for the third war, Boyle" I quickly whispered. Boyle looked like a questionmark. Once she had closed in, she slammed her tray down onto the table and stared at me. Boyle got so startled that he swallowed the food too fast.
"Why do you hate me?" I decided to speak before she could start. She kept staring at me, and the silence were almost deafening.
"You're disgusting"
"How am I disgusting? I'm trying to survive from your lies" I said simply. She grew even angrier. I was so focused on arguing with her clueless anger towards me that I didn't notice that Boyle was literally shoking on food.
Until he slammed his hand onto the table to gather mine and her's attention. I knew immediately why, and rushed to my feet. I walked around her and to his side- and immediately started to get him up on his feet. She was scared, and started to back away from the table. Shocked.
"One, two, three--!" I speak, as I pound on his back hardly. Eventually, the chunk of food flew out from his mouth and landed on his own tray. He abruptly inhaled, searching for air. Then coughed so much he almost felt ready to faint.
"Holy shit" She whispered. I looked at her and crossed my arms.
"I guess someone disgusting just saved someone's life" I spat. Immediately, her shocked and awe'd expression disappears, and she grabs her tray and storms away. Once she was gone, I asked if Boyle was alright. He was catching his breath as I asked that, and could only nod or shake his head. He nodded, making me relieved.
"I almost died, dude. That was scary as shit" Boyle admitted. I sat down on my seat again and nodded.
"I can understand why"
Boyle weakly smiled. Then pushed his tray away. Probably not having an apetite right now.
Maybe I should start counting all encounters I have with her. This is getting insane.
