"You shouldn't have gone alone!" Barry sighed, watching Yonah walk back into the Cortex, Barry knew something was off about her, and it wasn't the scratches on her arm or the fact she was limping, it was the fact he told her not to go out there without him, " What did she do to you?" he asked, as she only let out a small groan her suit now ripped up," I'm fine Barry, I can handle this myself, besides she's after me." Yonah only rolled her eyes knowing that he was right, but the Gotham side of her spoke first rather than her reasoning,"Catalina could have killed you !" He shook his head at her in disapproval. Yonah still had that stubbornness of her father that Barry couldn't exactly shake, "It's not like she hasn't wanted to !! " she slammed her fist on the table, "You don't get it, Barry, you think I'm fragile, and I'm not!" she glared at him hoping to get him away from her," That's not at all how I see you." Barry knew that Yonah wasn't fragile, but he knew that she wasn't invincible either no matter how much she thought she was, she wasn't Kara or Diana."Then why do you care if I'm hurt!" her teeth clenched together as Catalin began tending to the scratches, " It's because I love you, and if anything happened to you," Barry's voice began to shake as his eyes got watery, " I don't know what I would do?" he looked up at her holding her hand." Barry I'm from Gotham where this is just a normal night in the Batcave." She smiled a little looking up at him, " I've got tough skin, OUCH!" She groaned, feeling the alcohol on the cut, " Besides I'm a Wayne, we Waynes either die and come back or we just die and come back." she shrugged, turning her face away from him furrowing her brows,"You say that like it's nothing, and it scares me." Barry glanced at her." Worry about me, but I'm not going anywhere anytime soon," Yonah laughed, "As your partner in crime and girlfriend." seeing him still upset, " I can't promise that won't happen again, but I can promise to be more careful."" Promise " he smiled, kissing her on the cheek"hey so uh not to ruin a perfect moment, but uhm another murder just happened, and uhm Joe wants to see you." Cisco smiled, slightly knowing that this crime was pretty bad. The precinct of CCPD was a lot nicer and cleaner than the GCPD, and a lot more functional. " would you look at that, a working Keurig!" Yonah beamed, looking around the brightly lit place, "I'll show you where I work." Barry motioned for her to follow him up the steps to the crime lab, it was spacious and altogether impressive,"Barry you're late." Joe sighed, "I don't even wanna know why." he looked over to Yonah who was going over files in the room, "Who's that?"" Detective Wayne sir." turning around, her hair following in the motion "Of the GCPD." she gave him a charming smile,"The pretty and intelligent detective Barry's been talking about? " he laughed, watching Barry blush his face redder than his suit,"That would be me, sir." shaking his hand "You wouldn't happen to have any more files on this case, would you?" " Singh would.." "You should talk to him.." He began hinting to her about the offer as she walked away." Barry, what was that about?"Joe gave him a familiar stare. He knew Barry had it bad. That familiar gleam was back in his eyes again the look of a daring idea."Nothing." he lied, "So any more news about these strings of murder?""Barry..""Fine, it's just, that lately, I thought maybe having Yonah move in would make things a bit better especially with the stress of Gotham, and a place where she can test out her powers more." he smiled, "So you mean to tell me there's another one," already getting a headache from the news."Maybe?" "Any idea as to where you can find this woman," Singh asked,Yonah nodded "I can have all the information your men need here by tomorrow." "However, I can tell you that you'll find her mostly in the alleyways," She smirked at him, "Of course, and I suggest you consider the offer as well," "I'll think about it." Spending 3 more days in Central, she really began thinking about moving out of Gotham, it was time for her to leave out the mansion, after all, Dick had his place, and so did Jason, and with her losing sleep between fighting alongside Batman she still fell into his shadow while here she was seen as a marvel! "Hey, Yonah you ready to go?" Barry asked, seeing a familiar look on her face, "Yes, I'll do it," Yonah nodded,"Do what?" he replied,"I'll move in with you, but after this case is closed I wanna start here with a clean slate." she smiled holding his hand, "No Myra no crazy Gothamite problems,"Finally, the case had been closed, The CCPD arrested Myra with the help of Pink Fury and Flash, and a charge of her getting out of Arkham was hopefully no time soon, but there was still one more problem to solve, "Yonah." Bruce sighed, sitting her down at the kitchen table "What's wrong?" he whispered, making sure Yazela wasn't still around,"I love Barry, and lately we've been thinking about moving in together I know what you're going to say, and I""Yes." he gave her a reassuring smile,"I'm sorry what?" she looked at her dad in complete shock, "You're not worried about Barry and me alone in a cozy apartment?" She laughed, trying to make him cringe,You're my daughter" he began laughing with her to ease her nerves a bit " I trust you'll make the right decisions." "But what about you and mom or Damian and Tim or Duke and Cass or Steph what about helping Alfred with chores and cooking!" she sighed, missing everyone despite not even left yet,"You still have a brother to get to know, and your path to make," he tried to get teary-eyed, but instead laughing, "It's time for you to leave the bat cave, and make your own,""This is college all over again." looking at his hand, " You're shaking? " her eyes wide, "You do have emotions!" He sighed, " don't tell anyone," the door then creaked as they both took battle positions out of familiar situations. "Did you hear that?" she asked,"Of course I did," he responded,"Father-daughter duo-" she paused, seeing who walked in,Damian walked in, a book bag on his shoulder in his cute uniform a smile on his face while approaching the two"That's a first ." she laughed, "Hey, Damian you remember Barry right?" She asked,"You're moving aren't you." Damian glared at Yonah,"I'll stay for 4 weeks each month, and I'll be here for meetings." she tried to ruffle his hair as he backed away." You're leaving me, the blood daughter.," he growled,"When you find that someone you love and want to be with for however long time will allow you, you will understand." she smiled,"Well, I'm visiting you so." he hugged her, something she didn't know he could do, "I have homework to do," he sighed, " Wait, I get your weapons right?""Damian.." she glared, "Homework!""Oh! by the way, dad I thought that maybe The Wayne enterprise branch in Central could use some checking up on, and since I'll be there?" she suggested,hoping he would say yes,"I'll think about it." he nodded, patting her on the back, "Now go start packing." Yonah then smiled hugging him "I'll call as much as I can, and I'll attend every Gala," she teared up, "I don't wanna forget you all.""Ms. Yonah you're only moving, not dying," Alfred laughed,"You're just moving away." he shook his head, " Waynes are so dramatic," Yonah turned the key into what was now their new apartment only to see two familiar faces sitting on the couch watching Scooby-Doo, and throwing popcorn in each other's mouths, " Dude, he's the vampire," Dick said, throwing popcorn in Wally's mouth, "You do this every time, what are you a cop!" he joked, "Soon to be actually." winking at him, before pecking him on the lips,"Get a room you two!" Yonah laughed, throwing two small fireballs at the couple "And not in my apartment please ya damn dorks." both of the boys looked at her."We were gonna surprise you.""Well, I'm surprised now leave!"
