"Can't you see?" I yelled, desperately trying to keep my tears away, "We don't belong together."
He grinded his jaw, not uttering a single word.
"We're murders. Killers." I said, my voice breaking, "We aren't normal. We cannot have that normal life."
I was going to give him a hundred more reasons. A million reasons why a life that sounded so mundane, so homely, was so damn difficult for us.
But he didn't give me a chance.
Instead he moved forward in a deliberate pace. His fingers lightly brushed against my jaw, as he leaned down ever so slowly.
My eyes closed on their own accord as his lips came crashing down on mine
