After the party, Annabel went to party after party, hoping to meet up with Ivy. Her hope begins to diminish after party 5. Maybe Ivy had been visiting someone.

Annabel sits in the empty cafe, drinking a large coffee. The door chimes open, and she doesn't bother looking up. She's surprised when she hears a throat clear. She looks up and instantly her breath catches in her throat. It's Ivy. She frantically straightens herself out.

"Oh! Hey. H-How are you?"

Ivy smiles a smug smirk,

"We've already made out, theres no need to be nervous around me."

Annabel blushes,

"But seriously, can I sit?"

Annabel nods furiously and moves her bag. Ivy sits down with a sigh. She looks at Annabel's mug of coffee, and back at her lap.

"I heard from a friend you were trying to find me. And I was just walking by when I saw you. You didnt have to go through all that for me."

Annabel sighs,

"I felt something... when we kissed I mean. It made my tongue tingle and my stomach had butterflies... it wasn't a normal kiss. Did you..."

Annabel hesitates,

"Feel anything?"

Ivy looks away,

"I dont even know your name..."

Annabel looks away, assuming the worst,

"Its Annabel."

She whispers,

"Like the doll?"

Ivy quips, a smile forming on her face. Annabel smiles,

"Dont change the subject."

Ivy frowns,

"Short answer, yes."

"What about the long answer?"

Annabel breathes out.

"I cant put that into words."

Ivy says, her voice husky.

"Can you try?"

Annabel whispers, leaning in close to Ivy. Ivy glances at Annabel's lips, then looks back up at her. She visibly gulps.

"Kissing you was the most eye opening experience I've ever had. I've always kissed girls, but dated boys. I never thought I could like a girl like that. I thought my feelings were wrong... but a kiss like that isn't wrong. Nothing that could make me feel that way is wrong."

Annabel smiles, and slowly leans in. Unlike the first kiss, this one was no farther than gentle. Ivy almost seemed scared. Annabel deepens it. Her heart is pounding so hard she's sure Ivy can hear it. The same butterflies she felt before came back with a vengeance.  Annabel can taste cherries and lime and a hint of something else she can't quite place. Her lips were softer, if that was even possible. Ivy smiles into the kiss and pulls away. She gazes into Annabel's brown eyes, tucking her straightened black hair behind her ear,

"How can this be wrong?"

Annabel smiles, and grabs Ivy's hand, she brings it forward and kisses it, Ivy smirks,

"Do you want to come with me, to the protest tomorrow?"

"I would do anything with you."

Ivy replies. Annabel smiles and lets her hand go,

"Did you want a coffee?"

Ivy smiles and gets to her feet,

"I'll get my own."

Annabel smiles and watches as Ivy goes to the front  and orders a drink. It seemed like hours but probably only minutes later did she sit back down.

"So,"

Ivy says,

"So,"

Annabel repeats,

"Tell me about yourself."

Ivy replies.

"There isnt much to say."

Annabel begins,

"Please?"

Ivy begs.

"What are you going to college for?"

She asks,

"Writing."

Annabel boasts,

"I had the best writing skills of my entire school."

Ivy smiles,

"That's so cool. I'm going for art."

Ivy says with a smile.

"Thats great."

Annabel retorts.

They talk for what seemed like hours, and soon Ivy gets to her feet,

"I'm so sorry."

Ivy begins,

"But I have to go."

"Thats totally fine, meet me here tomorrow, at 12."

Annabel finishes.

Ivy gives her one last fleeting glance before rushing out. The smile on Annabel's face stays there for the whole day, and she goes to bed happier than she's ever been.

this was a lot shorter, but I plan on making the next chapter (the final part) longer
