Chapter 31

"Why won't it heal like it normally would?" Jimin stressed.

He was actually worried about the vampire in front of him because Yoongis voice had been coated with seriousness. "You're not just playing me, are you?" Jimin accused and Yoongi huffed in annoyance.

"I will die if it doesn't get treated. That's why I came to you two days ago. I was hoping that you could help me," Yoongi whispered the last bit, not wanting Jimin to hear.

"Jin hyung told me that vampires can't kill each other..." Jimin hinted, crossing his arms, trying to look for a fault in Yoongis so far trustworthy story. "You're right," Yoongi rubbed the back of his neck feeling how small pearls of sweat were forming on the tip of his fingers.

The venom was already kicking in and Yoongi was currently fighting against time, cursing himself for being the good guy, but kinda happy that it was him at not the beta. A werewolf would suffer massive pain from a vampire bite and Taehyung would have probably been dead already if it hadn't been for Yoongi.

"Then why aren't you healing?!" Jimin felt the frustration creep up on him.

This didn't make sense!

If vampires cant't kill each other, then why was Yoongi slowly dying from a bite?

"Its against the law to kill another vampire," Yoongi started, watching slightly amused at the internal battle the halfling was having with himself. "What law?" Jimin asked, still out of focus. His mouth was running on autopilot, responding to Yoongi, while his mind was in another place.

Jimin had already figured out what it would take to heal the vampire and upon realising it, his eyes turned pink.

Something inside him was lurking, something waiting for a chance to get out.

"The supernatural law or it's more an unwritten vampire law really. It's against the rules to kill your own kind unless you're a werewolf. The deed is punishable by death itself so if I die, there's gonna be a fucking manhunt to get the vampire that killed me," Yoongi couldn't help but laugh as he pictured it.

He already felt sorry for the guy, especially if Jungkook and Taehyung got their claws in him.

He would have wished that he never crossed the territory in the first place.

That itself was already punishable and Yoongi wondered what had made the vampire cross in the first place.

"Will you do it?" Yoongi asked after a moment of silence. He was leaning back now, trying to get comfortable while still having a firm hold on his injured arm. Jimin felt uneasy, contemplating. Inside, there was a faint voice telling him to go for it. He had to save the vampire in front of him not for any particular reason.

It just felt like the right thing to do.

"If I do it, will you stop blackmailing me?" Jimin asked. There was no way in hell he was walking away from this chance empty-handed.

The only thing that would heal a vampires bite was the blood of a halfling and the vampire sitting in front of Jimin should consider himself the luckiest creature alive for knowing one. Yoongi groaned upon hearing the young mans proposition, but he knew it was coming and seeing no way around it, the vampire nodded his head.

"If you do it, I will leave you alone and I will keep your secret with me," Yoongi confirmed and he could swear he saw little sparkles shining in the crook of the halflings eyes.

Jimin felt victorious, he had already dreaded thinking about the upcoming school year, having to walk around as Yoongis blood bag, always be available for him whenever he wanted to.

But there was this tiny litle tingling feeling inside Jimin that told him that he didn't mind. That hanging out with Yoongi wouldn't be as bad as it looked like.

Jimin shook his head, listening to the dark voice in his head one final time before deciding.

"I'll do it," Jimin said determined. It would be painful, but if it meant getting Yoongi away from him and to leave him alone, it was worth it. Jimin rolled up his sleeves looking at the two puncture wounds that Yoongi had made a couple of days ago. They were slowly fading away and wasn't looking nearly as red as the did. How he had managed to hide them from his parents was beyond Jimin.

"You know it will take days right?" Yoongi asked, a smirk forming on his face when
Jimins formed a suprised one,

"What? No!" The halfling defended, quickly rolling down his sleeves and shuffling away from the vampire. "You didn't say that?!" Jimin felt tricked. "You wouldn't have said yes if I had told you," Yoongi snickered, quickly grabbing Jimins arm and pulling him towards him.

Jimin shrieked when the vampire pulled him closer, but stopped resisting when the threatening voice of Yoongi told him to keep still.

"I have another little enlightenment for you halfling" Yoongis grin turned wider, eyes red and his fangs extracted.

The plan had worked perfectly...
