okay sO-

I have a bit of backstory on quest and his family, and why he's not really fighting-

so, for starters, quest isn't really a violent creature. he's quite, as the kids say these days, uwu soft. before his stepbrother, travel, was murdered, quest would barely speak, and he would never, ever dare lay a finger upon another being in anger. however, after seeing his closest family member being carried away in a bloodied body bag, something inside of him broke. he began to drink, that became all he knew how to do. still yet, he wouldn't get physical. no, he was solely full of empty threats and seemingly sincere promises of an ass whooping of a lifetime. but nothing would follow other than a severe case of the hiccups.

it took years for venture, quest's older sister, to bring him out of the hole he had dug and buried himself in. he wanted to fight everything and everyone that moved, but he couldn't. he knew that his brother wouldn't have liked it, and quest really didn't want to have that sort of burden on his conscious. so yeah, m'boy isn't really much of a fighter but he'll sure as hell act like it- which consequently leads to him getting beaten down quite often-
