also mini vent here sksksk. pretty much since I've started posting my art online I've always felt like I've had to sort of be someone I'm not?? like,,, I don't really know how to explain it but sometimes it feels like the only way people are gonna like your art is if you have this super unique and cartoony style, and I've been trying to keep pushing myself in that direction even though the main reason I got into art was to be able to draw on the more realistic/semi-realistic side of the spectrum. i feel like I've lost sight of that in the process of developing my style because I've been trying to please others instead of myself. but whenever I try to move in the direction I want to go in, I get so scared that people won't like it/me, and I go back to doing whatever I was doing before. but tbh I just need to learn to not give a literal flying fuck. and I'm trying, I really am. it's hard, but I'll keep trying. I'm not sure if any of this made sense, it's like 3 am and I'm so tired lol please forgive any typos or grammatical errors I'm sorry xD
