As we entered the room the class went silent just to erupt into whispers as they laid their eyes upon me.
"Be quiet. I'll explain in a second." Aizawa muttered as he went behind his desk and the children stared at me curiously.
"This here is Y/n L/n and she's a new teaching assistant. This means that she'll stay here for a while. Be nice to her. If you have questions, I'm going to sleep."As if it was normal, Aizawa put on his yellow sleeping bag again and laid down on the floor, drifting off to sleep already.
The kids ignored him and threw their questions all around the room.Confused I clapped my hands once and it got silent.
"First of all, one at a time. Second of all, is that normal?"
I asked, motioning to the guy sleeping on the floor. The class erupted in giggles and waved their hands dismissively.
"Don't mind him, Miss!"I sighed and shook my head.
"Alright, once again. I'm Y/n L/n and I'll be here for a while, learning under Aizawa-san and I'll be learning from you guys as well."
I smiled at them.
"If you have questions, raise your hand."Hands shot up, waiting to be picked.
I picked a girl with short brown hair and she smiled."Shall we as well introduce ourselves?"
"Oh yes, that would help me remember all of you."
"Alright. I'm Ochako Uraraka. My question is, are you a Pro Hero? Do you have a hero name?"
I chuckled. "That were two questions but fine. I don't have a hero name and I'm not a pro hero, or a hero in general. Just your normal citizen, working at a school."
A few hands went down but some were still up. I picked a kid with green hair and freckles.
"I'm M-Midoriya Izuku and I wanted to know if you have a q-quirk?"
"Hmmm. I do have one but I'll keep it a secret. But to say more, I dropped out of UA because of my quirk."
Thousands of arms shot up again, picking a girl at the back with black hair.
"I'm Momo Yaoyozoru. (I'm sorry if I get names wrong btw, really bad at remembering that.) Why was your quirk the reason that you stopped your dream to become a hero?"
"Well, it wasn't my quirk itself but the consequences with it. For one it takes a lot of energy after I used it, that said, I'll go to sleep for around a week."
Gasps all around the classroom.
"So I stopped using my quirk just to realize that if I didn't use it I couldn't sleep at all. Like, right now I haven't slept for a month. A maximum of 10 minutes a day before something holds me off.""A MONTH?!"
"HOWS YOUR SKIN SO GOOD AFTER NO SLEEP!?""Quiet down everyone. First of all, I use makeup to conceal those dark circles and second of all I'm used to not sleeping that much by now. Anyway, since I couldn't sleep back in the days I wasn't able to concentrate on classes, so I failed them and when I slept for a week I would miss a lot of things so I just gave it up after the first semester."
I explained further and sighed.
"But I'm used to this now and I have kind of a schedule of when I use my quirk to get some sleep. But just to brag I once went 6 months without sleep, leaving the 10 minutes a day."The class started whispering and being in awe as they couldn't contain their excitement.
"If you're used to it now why don't you become a hero?" Midoriya asked again.
"Good question. I guess I just gave it up completely. Sure, I dreamt about being one, but seeing that I couldn't really get used to my quirk I just let it go."
I gave the class a pained smile.
"But hey, I'm back here at UA, as a teacher, kind of. So I guess I'm happy that I can help kids that may be in the same position I was, or something like that."
I chuckled as I leaned against the teachers desk behind me."But enough about my quirk or my shattered dreams. Have you got any other questions?" I crossed my arms and looked around before picking someone.
"I'm Mineta Minoru. How old are you and what are your three sizes, are you single? Are those real?" The grape headed boy stared at my chest and I just gave him a questioning look.
"Currently 28. I'm single. Yes these are real." I rose a brow before sighing. "The other question will be ignored. Anyone else got questions?"
"Iida Tenya is my name and I wanted to know if you were with any pro heroes in a class that teach us now?"
"From what I remember when I was in 1-A... I think... Eraserhead, Present Mic and the lot, were in 3-A."
"So basically are Aizawa-Sensei and Mic your senpais?" Uraraka shouted out.
"Basically I guess, but we never really met or talked while I was attending so we're strangers, meaning that they aren't really my senpais." I smiled and looked at the clock.
"Oh it's going to ring in a few so let's stop this here. Before class is dismissed I want to warn all of you."I said as I heard something shuffle on the ground but ignored it.
"Be careful when you walk around the city at night. This woman, Moonlight might seem like a good person because she's getting rid of small criminals but you never know. Maybe she just wants to build up trust to shatter it later on."I looked around the class and sighed.
"Anyway, be careful and make sure not to get in trouble. Better stay away from any signs of Moonlight."Just than the bell rang and everyone said their goodbyes and left. The shuffling on the floor got louder and a groan followed.
"It's over already?" Aizawa sat up and looked around.
"Mind writing the report about today's class?" He asked while rubbing his head."Sure, no problem. Anything else?" I asked while picking up my notes and slowly walking to the door.
"You familiar with the school yet?"
"Uh, no actually. Nezu wanted to show me around but something came up, so I'll look around after I'm done with everything."
"Alright. That's all then." He said as he slowly started to leave his sleeping bag.
