This part was incredibly unplanned and is literally the product of me using writing as therapy for my mental breakdowns aka the one I had right before I started writing this. I guess I'm using it as character development for Saoirse in a way.

But, the song mentioned in this chapter is called 'Weep Not For Him' written by a composer named Tesfa Wondemagegnehu, and I sang it at this past concert in my chamber choir //As a soprano so I got to hit all those fun high notes you hear aka LISTEN TO THIS SONG IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE// and absolutely fell in love with the song. I felt it fit well with the context of what was happening. But, I'm going to leave the song up in the content box above and I strongly reccomend listening to it to get the full effect. Of course, I had to edit the lyrics a lot because the song uses repitition in layers to create this amazing effect and AAAHHH you just have to listen to it to get the whole thing.

Anyways, hope you guys like it, don't forget to vote and share❤ thanks for all the support!

Saoirse sat up from her bed and looked to her door, debating if it was a good idea to leave her room to go and investigate the yells that were coming from the direction of Gallant's room. But like Kade had observed in her years ago, she let her curiosity get the best of her and decided she wanted to know what was happening. Slowly, she rose from the bed and approached her door. Once she'd opened the door, she quickly exited her room and made her way down the hall that lead to Gallant's room.

Upon making it to the area outside of Gallant's room, she stopped in her tracks to see Langdon standing in the doorway. The blonde man turned his head to look at Saoirse, placing a finger to his lips to signal for her to be quiet. Saoirse stared back at the man with a nervous look before she approached the room. Langdon stepped out of the way, a smug look was plastered on his face while his head held a slight tilt as he looked into Gallant's room.

Saoirse stuck her head into the room and almost immediately regretted it. A gasp tried to escape her lips, but a hand quickly clasped itself around her mouth as he eyes widened at the horror in front of her. Saoirse glanced up at Langdon, who still held his hand over her mouth, before looking back at the scene in front of her. There sat Gallant on his bed, straddling his grandmother with a sharp object clasped in his trembling hands. The bed and himself were covered in blood spatters of none other than Evie Gallant. The only thing odd was that Gallant looked just as confused as Saoirse did. She knew that Gallant and his grandmother always had a silent hatred between them, but never in a million years did she think Gallant would go as far as to murder his grandmother.

Sick of looking at the bloodbath, Saoirse pulled away from Langdon and exited the room. She stood in the hallway outside, her back pressed against the wall as she her breathing quickened and her heart beat began to rapidly climb. The scene was still burning in her head and she wanted it out. Langdon turned to look at Saoirse, an eyebrow cocked as he saw her reaction.

"Saoirse?" he asked in a quiet tone as he began to approach her.

"No," the brunette breathed out uneasily, "No...I-I can't do....th-this," she stuttered in between nervous breaths, "I can't do this," she whimpered as tears began to fill her eyes.

Langdon tried to approach her again, reaching out his hand to touch her face, but once again, she pulled away from him and continued her unsteady breathing. Before he could try again, Saoirse had made her way back down the hallway towards her room, using the wall to keep her steady for she had begun to feel lightheaded.

When she made it back inside her room, she collapsed on top of her bed and tried to steady her breathing. It felt like seeing Gallant and his bloodied and dead grandmother below him set her off. She felt an immediate panic and she couldn't remember the last time she'd been so overwhelmed. As she wiped her eyes from the tears that flowed down her cheeks, she heard the faint sound of a chord from a song she used to know.
