Hey kiddos. No, I am not dead. I have had an incredibly busy two weeks and I have had literally no time to write. I wanted to get this part out because I didn't want you guys to think that I was discontinuing this story since the show ended. I have been sort of lacking in muse, but I find it again eventually. This part is a little short, but I just wanted to give you guys something since I've kept you waiting for ten days. The next week will be incredibly jam packed too, so I'm sorry if it take a week plus to update. I love you guys and thank you for all the love and support this has gotten. It helps to drive me to keep writing!

Saoirse still layed collapsed against Michael's chest as he calmed her down from her return from Descensum. He didn't blame her for her reaction. The experience was scary in itself, which is why most didn't come out of it at all like she had.

"You need to rest," Michael spoke softly into her hair while Saoirse took deep breaths.

She didn't speak and merely only nodded her head against his chest. She couldn't find any energy to argue with him. The task of Descensum was very draining. She felt as if she'd had twenty pound weights tied around her neck and all her limbs.

Michael kept a hold of her, supporting her weight against him, as they walked back towards Michael's room.

"I don't want to go back," Saoirse muttered as they walked.

"You don't have to," Michael assured the brunette, "I promise," he spoke as he approached the door to his room. Michael opened it, leading Saoirse in before shutting it.

"Get some rest," he spoke to her as he led her to his bed, helping her lay down on the mattress. As she layed there, Michael sat next to her motionless body and reached down to gently kiss the top of her head and then proceeded to run his hand through her hair as she drifted off to sleep. He was proud of her to say the least, he didn't know if she'd let her anxiousness get the best of her or not. Michael looked down at the sleeping girl lovingly. He didn't think he'd ever fall for someone the way he had with her.

"I told her you ever only look at things that mean a great deal to you like that."

Michael turned his head from Saoirse to see Mead standing in the room with them.

"Sometimes I forget that the Cooperative gave you such stealth when they rebuilt you," Michael smiled, still not leaving Saoirse's side.

Mead took a few steps forward chuckling as she focused her gaze on the sleeping girl, "She passed?"

"Indeed," Michael looked back to Saoirse, still running his hand through her hair aimlessly, "she'd gotten herself so worked up I thought maybe she'd sike herself out of it."

"Some things don't come as easy to people as they do to others," the woman still looked down on the girl, averting her gaze to Michael after a few seconds, "You know we'll have to act fast. Those

witches are planning, and things won't be pretty if we keep waiting."

"I know, she just needs rest," Michael stood from the bed, towering over Mead, "I'll just kill them all again like last time, except I'll make sure to eliminate them all."

"All?" Mead gave him a questioning look, "You know you're taking a risk keeping her alive?"

Michael looked from Saoirse to Mead, "Maybe so, but I've got her wrapped tightly around my finger, and while I hate to admit it...I'm quite wound around hers as well."

"Do you really think she's the answer you and the Cooperative are looking for?" the woman cocked a brow.

"Positive," the blond nodded, "If we can turn an angel...we can do anything. She'll be perfect once the repopulation initiative has begun."
