I met someone today,
his words morphed my view of the world and of how it had led me astray.
Unlike anyone, uncertainty was absent in his sentences,
For he deeply meant what he said,
He deeply felt what I'd felt.
He understood me, considering he too had gone through what I had.
Finally, when I disconnected, I learned that,
I'm not alone in this, and that if I can live through yesterday, why not today?
Why not tomorrow?
