Cody's family leaves as I watch him and stare at the ring.

"You know if someone would've told me that i'd be in this exact position with you, I wouldn't have believed it. Because out of every single gorgeous girl you meet, you chose my goofy ass" I giggle as he smiles and lays me down as he gets on top of me

"Trust me. We were meant to be" He kisses me as he gets off

"I was being serious about the Netflix and munchies, let's go" He laughs as we grab the snacks and head to his room.

We watch a couple of movies as we end up falling asleep. I wake past 11 as Cody isn't in bed anymore. I look down at my ring and smile widely.

I facetime my mom

M: hi mija, what's up?

I smile widely as I show her my hand

I: He didn't propose but he did give me a promise ring

She smiles widely

M: mija it's beautiful. i'm so happy for you two and that you guys are on the same page. continue having communication okay?

I nod, "I know ma. But i'm happy and excited"

We continue talking for awhile more as Eli comes over as usual

"I pray that they get this win, i really do." I say to her as she nods in agreement

I straighten my hair as Elizabeth stops me and takes my hand

"bitch when the heck were you going to tell me about this?" She says surprised

"He did it last night, everything he said when he was giving me the ring was so perfect. He's just making a promise there's no engagement or anything like that" I smile at her

"That's insane to think about, you're going to get married with the guy you've been in love with since forever ago" We laugh as I nod

I finish up my hair and make up as I put on shorts and a white top. I grab a hat of his as I fix it to fit my head.

"off we go!" We laugh as we uber it to the stadium and I show her pictures from last night as we squeal and laugh in excitement

We sit by his family as the game goes 1-0 Dodgers leading. 1-1, 2-1 with Boston leading and then 2-2 tie. the innings go for long as we laugh at how the game is going as well as stressed. Bottom 18, Muncy does a solo home run and the Dodgers lead and win 3-2! We all let out a breath of relief as we laugh softly. We head to the field as I stand aside as his family hugs him and congratulates him on the throw that kept the game tie.

"hey babygirl" he smiles as I smile shyly

We walk to each as I hug him tightly, "good job today baby. so proud of you. Although, a bit angry about the play you did but it's okay, you saved the game as well." I laugh softly as he kisses me

"As long as i'm forgiven by you" he winks as I roll my eyes and smile

"Take a picture with me bubs" I smile as he nods and I hand my phone to his mom. We pose as he stay still and moves away as I laugh

"Baby, ya. be serious" I laugh as we switch positions because of an interview that was going on

We take another picture as Jennifer hands me my phone, "thanks mama bellinger" I smile as she hugs me

I look at Cody as I kiss his nose

"I'm going back to the apartment. I'll see you tomorrow?" I smile as he nods

"Of course babygirl. Text me when you get home okay?" I nod as I say bye to his family and him, half the team that's still out as Eli stays with Corey and I get an uber back to Cody's house to get my things and my car.

I get home as I shower and change into pjs and lay in bed

Cody and I begin texting as I end up falling asleep, a little passes as I hear the door open. I get up to check as I smile

"hey" I whisper

"sorry. I got used to you being with me and I missed you so I came" Cody says as he locks the door and walks to me to hug me

I hug him as I breath softly

"let's go to bed. We have business to handle tomorrow" he whispers as I nod

I hold his hand as we walk to the room and lay down in the bed as I cuddle into his chest and we fall asleep.
