14th February 2008, Valentines day.....

Skye woke up that morning to the smell of pancakes being made, she got up and walked downstairs into the kitchen, she expected to see Jared cooking but to her dissmay it was her mother,

"Good morning sweetie!" shouted her mother with a smile, "I made you pancakes" she placed the plate on the table that had orange juice and a box of chocolates with a card, Skye let out a little giggle as she sat down and teared open the card, she read it and let out a little laugh as it said,

"To my darling daughter,

Happy Valentines day, lots of love your mother xxxx" Skye put down the card and turned around to her mother,

"Mum did anything else come for me?" she asked, Skye's mother turned around and looked bit shocked,

"No sweetie I'm sorry" Skye's heart sank a little, Jared forgot. He forgot Valentines day, it was the cuts, she wasnt beautiful to him any more, she started to cry, Skye's mother sat down next to her, "Skye look at me sweetie, I'm sure Jared has planned something very special for you, look I have to go to work, remember to put cream on those cuts ok and change the dressing ok sweeite" her mother said bending down and kissing her on the forehead, in a matter in minutes Skye was on her own, after her breakfast she curled up on the sofa watching Jershey Shore catch up, she thought about Jared the whole time while watching the characters Sammi and Ronnie argue, but then a knock came from her front door, Skye hesitated to open the door only to be greeted by Shannon with a bunch of roses and a card,

"Skye! Happy Valentines babe!!" Shannon said with a huge smile, he handed the roses and the card and hugged her, "Dont worry their not from me, their from Jared and he said to give you this, well details are in the card to be honest" he said, he hugged her goodbye and gave her a bag with vivienne westwood on the front, Skye walked back into her front room, placed the roses in a vase and opened the card,

"Skye, my beautiful girlfriend, Happy Valentines day, I'm sorry it seems like I forgot, but I havent, I have a little suprise Skye, I brought you a dress that you will love and I want you to wear it when we go out on a date tonight, we're heading off to Covent Garden for dinner and a romantic walk, the limo wil come pick you up at 7pm sharp so be ready ok baby? I'll meet you at the resturante, I love you Skye, see you tonight. Jared xx" Skye closed the card and opened the bag, and there was a beautiful black one shouldered dress, knee length and with a belt and matching high heels, Skye had a flicker of dissapointment, Jared was gonna see her scars, she threw the dress in the bag and began to cry, is she gonna be brave and go, or bail on Jared and risk their relationship?
