His hell was not a pit of
raging flames and perpetual death.

His hell was waking up alone,
the sheets wet of salty tears,
repentance on his tongue,
knowing,
that he had lost me
forever.

He had murdered
my clement heart
with his arrant perfidy,
so I killed him
with my everlasting goodbye.
