Will

"I'm right here." Everyone turns to face me. I grip the knife in my hand tighter. "Just like you said. I'm here, dad. I came home."

Henry balls up his hands into fists. "Will," he hisses. "Stay out of this!" Courtney stares at me, amused. I ignore them both. I focus my eyes on the cold, dead face of my father.

He hasn't changed at all. He still looks the same as when he left all those years ago. "Will, you came." His voice is empty, not angry or disappointed.

I laugh. "What, you doubted me? I'm not surprised. You always have." Henry takes a step towards me. I wave my knife at him. "Stay out of this, Henry. You're too blind to see. Both of you are. But I can end this."

Henry raises his hands, eyes darting between me and dad.

"Will, listen to me. I tried so hard to do you right, but you never realized that."

I scoff. "You tried to do me right? By drowning Henry in the river? By leaving us alone?"

"Will."

I glare at Henry. "Shut up!"

"Will!"

"What?!"

Henry stares at me, biting his lip. "I didn't fall in the river, Will. You did."
