Decides to do a youtube intro cos why not: Heeeeeey what's up guys it's ya favorite music expert (i wish), Owl. Today I'm bringing you a mix of four songs I'm using to represent modern-day pop. All are explicit, ever so slightly, but I'm sure somewhere you can find a clean version.
1) No Brainer - Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled, Chance the Rapper, Quavo [Explicit]
This is basically the best of Justin Bieber's new music, with the classic DJ Khaled introduction. Chance the Rapper looks different than I pictured.
For all of you that know Stir Fry by Migos, Quavo is a part of that group. I was kind of dumb and didn't really realize that they were a group, not just one person for a while, so for everyone that hasn't been enlightened yet, this is for you.
Surprisingly, for a Khaled and Bieber production, the music video wasn't terribly dirty like I'm the One's was.
2) Drew Barrymore - Bryce Vine [Explicit]
If you've never heard this song outside of the radio, you're in for a shock. This song drops a profanity right off the top, pretty much, and it only curses more from there.
I really like this song, though, from the beat to the low voice thing he's got going on. The play on words is rather clever. Drew Barrymore is a famous actress, and he's referring to her.
Drew Barrymore's gotten quite a lot of attention in songs lately, from him to SZA.
The video's not terribly inappropriate, either.
3) PILLOW TALK - ZAYN [Explicit]
Yeah, ZAYN's just too cool for 1D, isn't he? Still a bit salty from him breaking up the band, but y'know, it's a good song.
This one's higher and slower than both of the ones above. The music video is for those of you that go a bit farther than just bikini scenes.
He also went a bit overboard with the special effects, but that's okay.
4) OTW - Khalid, 6LACK, Ty Dolla $ign [Explicit]
Different person, guys. Not DJ Khaled, Kuh-leed. That's how it's pronounced. This video's unfortunately just audio, but I love him anyways.
