Broken Brothers

Chapter 3

I woke up this morning in pain, everything hurt, my vision was blurry at first and I tried to recall what happened last night

[Flash Back]

An hour after I had gotten home from school, I had gone to my room and changed my clothes

I had done my homework and the extra work, because some kids in my class got me in trouble for something I didn't do, the teacher gave me a more work to do

Not that I cared, it keeps me busy and distracted,after I finished it all I had gone downstairs because Silver had called me

He was in the kitchen with Shadow, I didn't look at Shadow, I already knew he hated me, I don't blame him, I hate me too

" Sonic... we got a call from the school that you had thrown up..." Silver frowned at me

" I ate something, I think the ham had gone off " I stated as I looked away from them, I felt their eyes on me

" well you need to start telling us things like this instead of lying " Shadow growled softly at me, my ears lowered slightly in response

I didn't dare look at them, I just started to walk out of the kitchen and up the stairs, but I paused

" I didn't want to worry either of you..." because I'm not worth your time were the unspoken words I had said, I then walked upstairs at into my room, the tears began to fall

I had vomited this morning and at lunch, I had forced myself to eat something from the tuck shop, but I had thrown it up, one of the teachers had taken me to the school nurse

I only said I was fine and asked to go back to class, I hadn't realised they had called my brothers, I went to my bag and went through it trying to find the knife I had packed this morning and used in the bathrooms earlier today

I had cut deep, trying to numb the pain, this time I had lost too much blood, not that I cared, I wanted this to end! So I wouldn't be s burden to my brothers, it's my fault our parents are gone

I the fell to the floor breathing heavily and was greeted with darkness

[End of Flashback]

I wish I hadn't woken up last night, I slowly stood up to get ready for school, knowing my brothers were at work and not here, I paused when I saw a note on my desk, I felt my heart skip a beat

Me thinking Shadow or Silver could of done this, but they'ed probably would've called the hospital

I slowly went over to it a read it

'Hello hedgehog,

You don't know me, but I know you, watch your back from now one, because I'm watching you and your brothers

Shadow's going to pay for putting me behind bars, tell anyone of this and I'll give you a painful death, not that you would care, considering you were unconscious and covered in blood when I put this here

So watch out, because I'm coming for you

I was still, I threw The note in my bag and left the house and went to school, more like went to hell
